Here’s 15 years worth of outsourcing tips you can use to start a profitable affiliate marketing business.

all right so here are outsourcing tips that you can use to create your own $10,000 per month affiliate marketing business my name is Dan Brock the deadbeat super affiliate and if you’re trying to create a passive income online business from the comfort of your living room sofa this is the channel for you so make sure you hit that subscribe button and then tick that Bell icon so that you’re notified of any videos that are released when I release them alright so if you want to earn $10,000 a month or more online with affiliate marketing the key is to create an outsourcing rolodex it took me many years to figure this out so we’re going to show you in this video is exactly what you need to know in order to pull this off so all I said let’s jump right in and we’ll get to the good stuff here we go [Music] all right Debbie so I should probably be charging a thousand dollars or more for this information but I want to grow my deadbeat super affiliate YouTube channel so I’m going to give away the good stuff here today all right so the key to properly implementing outsourcing into your affiliate marketing business your software production company your video production company whatever it is you need to master the idea of creating an outsourcers rolodex alright so this is just something recently I finally figured out how to do and the way I do it is here through Skype so effectively what I do is I provide a grade for each outsourcer as I do work with them now this grade is based off of the following criteria before you get into outsourcing paying money for someone else to do work for you you have to understand it’s human nature to do the least amount of work for the most amount of return so what that means for you is that nine out of ten outsourcers that you’re going to work with are going to try to screw you over in other words they’re going to want to provide 50 cents worth of work for every dollar that you give them and this is not everyone but we’re talking not out of ten people so here’s what you need to look out for all right so the first thing I do anytime I post a outsourcing job whether it be on up work freelancer com any of those sites I have a very descriptive Job Description so I’m asking them specific questions in the job description for example I say provide a link to your portfolio how many years have you been doing certain things and if they don’t answer that or follow the directions in that description you can pretty much tell off the bat that they’re not going to be a good worker simply because they can’t follow directions all right now the second thing I look out for is whether or not the owl sorcerer is intrusive so what I mean by that is you’ll you’ll start to realize that some outsourcers will try to talk personally with you like they’ll try to start they’ll start saying things like how was your day today what did you do like what are your problems that you’re having is it like they become too friendly and the reason why they’re doing this is they’re trying to get you to lower your defenses so that they can get money out of you easier so you have to be very careful with people that you hire never to accidentally mix personal and business relations in the conversation it’s very easy just to do this naturally after you work with someone long enough so you have to be very careful about that always keep things professional never get too much into people’s personal lives never get very personal I believe it’s the best way to do it when you’re working online now you can probably blow the line a little bit here in person but you have to keep a separation between friendship and business very very important all right the third thing you want to look out for our people who self promote themselves or show arrogance so what I mean by this just to give you a story I hired a programmer I try to hire a programmer who needed work not too long ago and basically the deal was that this person would fix the software that was the deal but the person instantly after the money was spent or after I paid the payment they instantly promoted themselves – I don’t like job manager a project manager and they started talking marketing ideas with me and that was basically what they were saying to me it was that they had the right to self promote themselves and run my business and also they had the arrogance to say that they were better than marketing than I was by trying to strategize with me marketing ideas when that was never the description so if you hire a programmer they only do programming if you hire a writer they only do writing the moment they start trying to blur the lines and talk strategy with you that’s a sign that in my opinion don’t want to work with them good thing this is one of the biggest deal-breakers is people that are flaky unreliable or excuse givers so I give people one mess up you get one mess up anything after that if they start giving the excuses about why they weren’t able to do anything instantly that’s pretty much cut from the team forever tip number six this is tip number five here alright tip number five is whenever an outsourcer just randomly message you out of the blue and they say hey I need money do you have any work for me that’s never really worked out reason why it’s because I know they’re operating from a position of scarcity or they’re really in a desperate situation in your and because of that you’re always going to get mediocre or subpar work it never works out all right the third the next tip is that I just remember another one I was talking about this when you’re interviewing an outsourcer on voice or whatever and in your mind you’re like wow this is finally the person that I’ve been looking for red flags should go up in your head the reason why is because they’re telling you exactly what you want to hear so be very careful when you start thinking like oh here’s finally the person I’ve been looking for they seem to understand what I want they’re professional blah blah blah usually it’s because they’re putting on a fake image and you have to be very careful so if that’s all ever pops in your mind instantly when meeting anyone in life red flags you go up next tip is that any outsourcer that says they work on retainer big scam don’t do it reason why is because as soon as you give them money on retainer they’re basically like alright great I got that person’s money now I can do whatever I see fit with that with that person’s money so basically you lose control of your money the instant someone says they work on retainer budge that retainer alright next one is work look out for the bait and switch that’s very common like they’ll come in to do a small job and instantly start the bait and switch you over to a multi-thousand dollar project forget about that next thing is that they’ll even out so sure doesn’t have the to think on their own if they need detailed instruction for every step of the matter usually you don’t want to work with them the reason why is because they’re putting minimal effort into your project they’re basically saying I don’t want to put effort into thinking things out on my own so I want you to tell me step by step everything that I need to do and in a way you need to be pretty strict in what you want them to do but when we’re talking step by step they need a yes or no for every single thing along the way this can typically typically be a problem you want someone who’s a self-starter you can give them the basic idea and guidelines of what you want and they can fill in the blanks and think on their own along the way now there might be points where they have questions for you about what to do during specific decisions that need to be made I’m talking when they need you to spell out every little piece of the project continuously now they might need this at first but once they once you start working with them long enough they should have a good idea of what you want to do all right so those are the negative things that look out out for now here are the most important things in my opinion this is from my perspective the ability for the speed in which someone can get back to me with the end result so if I’m like hey I need a video edited or I need a piece of software fix I’m looking for someone who can instantly talk to me on chat and fix it right then and there what rather than me have to wait like two or three days to see the end result reason why is because you want to knock off those things on your to-do list as quickly as possible and if you have these thoughts sitting out there like oh two days this couldn’t this person is finally going to have the software done or I’ve got to wait three days to get the design back that really messes with your mind a little bit so I prefer people that can get in contact with right then and there and have the end result almost instantly alright another thing I want I like to look out for is their ability to understand what I want so if they need to understand English very well and they can pretty much understand what I want with very limited instruction now this comes with time like they have to work with you a little bit to understand what you want that’s something that’s a big positive for me I can basically tell them a rough idea of what they want they could figure it out the third thing that is important to me is that they typically have to be on the same time zone as Mason because it’s easier to communicate and get a response back pretty quickly now you’ll notice on here that quality of work isn’t really on my list of things that I’m looking for now quality work is obviously something that you want but in my opinion it’s something that can be they can improve on over time I’d rather see reliability trustworthiness certain personality traits over Talent now a lot of what I’ve done wrong in the past is I first looked at talent as the main factor in personality second in my opinion it should be personality first characteristic traits and personality then talent all right now it’s on support obviously but it’s second in line in my opinion all right here’s some additional tips for you never rely on one outsourcer like you don’t want just one programmer that you have a go to you usually want to have two or three people in rotation because this gives you options and it gives you an additional power when you rely on one person they get the power in the in the situation there and they’re going to know over time they’re going to know that you rely on them so you have to be careful and always have other people that you can go to and kind of use that as leverage over the outsourcer the second tip is always start with some smaller cheap gigs I’m talking ten bucks 25 bucks to test out the person first so the first month of interaction with the person should be quick small gigs so that you can see if they’re trustworthy if they’re reliable and if their work is pretty decent and if they can have a fast turnaround the I’ve always made big mistakes when I’ve given $1,000 upfront or $2,000 upfront the reason why is because you have no clue what they’re going to do you’re just giving way too much trust into that person and because of that it can be pretty risky and that leads into another random thought that had never give a lot of money up front make them work for the raise always start low and work high the reason why is because people kind of want to earn what they get now when you give them the money upfront they actually they’re not like oh yeah I’m going to work really hard now that I’m getting paid a lot of money they actually resent you for and they actually work less for that money so what you need to do is actually along the way give small increases of money so that they have some kind of gratification and need to work harder and provide quality were kind of like dangled the carrot but give them a little bite of the carrot along the way if you’re given the carrot upfront they don’t respect you all right now it’s weird because you would think that if you pay people a lot of money upfront they’re going to respect you that’s not the truth additional tapers never jump in never give anyone full access to your systems to your mailing list I know that sounds pretty obvious but i’ma steaks I’ve made in the past in the hosting company one year I hired a tech dude and he actually went in and ganked my customer list and started promoting his whole hosting his own little hosting service to my existing customer list so don’t ever do that alright the last tip I have for you is that whenever I hire someone before I do I quickly talk to them on skype now the reason I’m talking voice voice chat here the reason why I do voice chat is because you can tell subconsciously through the tone of voice that that person is using their mental state I know that sound crate is kind of sounds crazy but you kind of have this subconscious ability to pick up where someone is as far as like are they a negative person are they a positive person it’s something to do with the voice tone and this is only something you learn with experience but you have to learn to kind of not listen to the words that are saying but the tone of voice that they use now again it only comes with experience I can’t give you any kind of hard things to go by as far as this is concerned all right so now let’s go to the outsourcing rolodex here so on the right side of the screen I have a list of some new outsourcers that I’m slowly working with and what I do is I talk about their description what’s their job so this guy’s coder disguise a programmer this guy’s a general writer here this guy does graphic design here’s another programmer here’s a health writer here’s an SEO dude here’s a coach so I first start off and I list what it is that they do now after that I talk about either their negatives and their positive alright so one of the things always I always list for myself is whether or not they’re reliable are they fast are they slow what’s their communication skill like that’s always important to me I also talked about there our talent now I also always try to pick one negative thing about them if they don’t they get an A+ but I always try to pick out the biggest negative this coder for example he was always very slow to get back to me sloppy any other I remember that it was a bit arrogant so I give him a c-minus like he took his coding was actually pretty good but his character really turned me off so I gave him a c-minus this guy very good programmer except his communication skill was pretty poor he’s trustworthy but the consensus communication ability was a little bit off it got really frustrating for me too to interact with him so I try not to give him as many jobs simply because I get frustrated with it here’s another writer he’s a great writer but unreliable very flaky so after that I just get rid of them simply because it’s not worth the mental stress I don’t care how good the person is if they’re flaky and unreliable throughout all right this guy’s a graphic designer is quick reliable that’s something that’s very important to me his talent is a average to above-average but that’s not as important to me as being quick and reliable and trustworthy so I gave them a B+ for that reason all right so all in all that’s how the outsourcers rolodex works I highly recommend that if you’re a beginner you start building your rolodex up slowly but surely this is in my opinion your most valuable asset as an online entrepreneur all right with all that said if you’re trying to get into the affiliate marketing business and you don’t have an
