alright what's up guys Josh like you from the guys make money online bringing your daily video and I had previously gotten some requests to make some the Google AdWords I'm gonna show the example on the screen and he said he wanted more advanced techniques of Google Adwords so I'm gonna bring you that today I'm gonna talk about how to choose the right keyword and one that effectively increases your conversions and I'm gonna show you how to effectively put a be test in the place and before I could begin this general is got the guide to make money online and so I was in the name I teach you everything you know about me need to know about how to make money online what you want to make a full-time income or just some money on the side so if that relates to you if your interests and that choose keywords that effectively increase your conversions and so I've got this part 2 of Google Ads set up and again I'm using Google Adwords and so for this example I'm gonna use my landing page that I always use for an example so what my objective objective is is to get people to click on my Google ad to take them to this landing page and so ultimately I convert into a affiliate Shopify 14-day free trial so this is the goal right here and so I've got my ad group name Shopify free trial and this right here is where you put in your keywords and this part is very important for getting the right group of people you want to click on your ads so the layout of this page is over here's where you write in your keywords and over here you can see what the monthly searches are so let's say I want Shopify 14-day free trial or my market funds in the way it's hard to type ok so I clicked on that and let it load for a second so it shows the keywords it isn't it didn't go that specific but for Shopify for that keyword the monthly search is six hundred and three hundred sixty eight thousand so maybe we'll get lucky on the keyword you specifically search for will show up how many monthly searches but that's just a good way to get an idea of how many people search so based on that there's a lot of people who want Shopify every month because there's always people searching for it so since I am trying to get people to convert to get a 14-day free trial Shopify I want to gear my keywords towards that and so let me pause go back explain okay so I just work done two sets of keywords the ones up top are really good ones and one below are really bad ones and so since I'm trying to get people to convert to order a fruit 14 day for a child Shopify I want to get my keywords for what you let me put it this way you want to get in the mind of the person who's searching so think if you were to buy a 14-day free trial of Shopify what would you search would you search Shopify would you search the top of Shopify log in no probably not you would probably start Shopify 14-day free trial or Shopify free trial and so my keywords that I'm gonna use are specifically geared towards exactly what they want and so if they want that product and wouldn't that would make them a hot buyer if they're searching for these terms and so whenever you're search Shopify sign up Shopify free trial Shopify 14-day free trial you wouldn't really search for that unless you're looking to get that and so you want to really get in the mind of your buyer and see what they would search for or what you would search for if you were gonna buy that product so let's say you were selling skateboard gear your keywords would be buy skateboard gear a skateboard gear cheap something that implies they want to buy it and so these are good and then down here are some bad ones I have you don't want to just do Shopify because you get people to just want to research Shopify or like something not related to people who actually want to buy your for Shopify 14-day free trial so high high monthly searches but week target to what you're actually trying to get them condemned to convert to excuse me Shopify store that's not very specific and then of course Shopify login to use this keyword they most likely already have one and they're not gonna buy a new one so you want something that is like an action keyword what you want them to do so like bye-bye blah blah blah blah blah blah cheap blah blah blah 14-day free trial something that they want to buy and so you don't have to have too many of these I would say it's better to have less keywords if they're more specific than just a whole bunch of keywords that are really generic so really be smart about your key and so let's move on from keywords to a be testing your ads to see how to convert better all right some in part three and this is where you create your ads and right here it says new ad and once you click on this to create your ad once you press done it'll pull up another option so let me fill out two different ads and I'll talk about what I did and why I did it alright let me just jump on back real fast show you what I was talking about so I created this ad right here and once I press done this other one popped up and so you're gonna press a new ad to create your second one so I'm going to do that don't get back to you in a second alright so that's my two ads here and they're very small changes between the two but these are really effective and so if you all don't know what a be testing is where you want to learn more about it I made a video this past week about a/b testing so I'll put a link in the description all about that so you can watch that and then apply it to this but I'm gonna talk about what I did for these two so I've got one out here on the Left luckily I was able to make this big so you can see it better it says Shopify 14-day free trial and then Shopify afterwards but this one over here says Shopify first and then 14-day free trial without the repeated Shopify words so I have a feeling this one will convert better over here but just to be sure IAB test I will a be test and do the two headers to see which one converts better and then I just went ahead and did two different headers two different URLs in two different domain or descriptions but ideally you'll do one at a time but I'll just gonna show them all so you could come see ml at once and so ignore ignore the second ones just look at the header and so theoretically you would send these two off with the same everything else and then whichever one converts better you would move on to changing the description so I hope that I hope you all understand that don't don't do this many changes in one time doing one at a time over a period of like two or three AP tests so and then what I have in the description is over here I have a Shopify for teenagers free trial and then over here I have 14 day free trial Shopify com again I think this one will convert better but just to be sure I'll do a t-test to see and then once you find a header that works better in the description that works better combine those two and then if you want you can see which domain works better usually just to sum like www.gfi.com/webmonitor trial because that looks more professional more clean but if y'all want you can try it out I mean there's no harm as long as you have the funds to continue the a/b test and so that's what you do is you can just set up ads and then you can actually do up to six and six more wait hold on I ignore that that's something else okay so I have these two but you can go on to create some more I wouldn't do like a crazy amount all at once because then you'd have to have large amount of data and it just is just harder to visualize and so you can create as many as you want B be just what's the word sparing with it I think that's what I'm trying to say but um anyways yeah so just send these off and then do save and continue I'm not gonna do that that's just an example and then um what this will do is whenever your ad is running Google will do one AD half the time and one AD the other half the time and you can compare the data from both the ads let's say the second one has a 50% conversion rate actually that'd be crazy as like a 10 percent conversion rate and this one has 6% obviously this one works better so you want to put more money into this ad and ultimately tailor it so it's absolutely perfect and just get rid of that one up completely and move on with this one so maybe testing is for the preliminary stages and then once you find the one you want to go with put all your funding in that one and then that's when you can start seeing a large amount of conversion so this is a very effective way in a very advanced technique to utilize Google AdWords to get more profit and so I'm gonna leave it at that just a recap of notes keywords make them very specific get in the mind of your buyers see what they would search and then apply that to your keywords don't use generic there's no there's no like added benefit to have like millions of keywords if the keywords are really generic you want really powerful good keywords and if you don't know which ones to use go to the Google AdWords tools and then you can do a keyword planner and that's how you can see like a more detailed thing of how to research keywords and so Google AdWords is very requested video more advanced techniques and so in the future I will probably come out with more more advanced techniques on how to really utilize your ads how to make them so they convert better and then also talk about the keyword planner and so if you're new if you're new here and that interests you please subscribe because
