hey there everyone and this is the author of finding work at home jobs calm and today I'm going to be talking about work at home job leads and as you know I do have a website finding work at home jobs calm which unfortunately I don't work on very often especially now since I have been working full time and so I just haven't put any time into it and the reason I'm coming back though is because I have noticed that this YouTube channel seems to be growing despite me really not doing anything and it makes me think that people really are looking for work at home opportunities I have been working at home since 2006 I believe in 2006 2007 and I've gone through so many work at home opportunities I've actually worked for a lot of work at home companies I kind of know the ins and outs of which companies you should look at and which companies you shouldn't look at and I think it'd just be a shame not to share what I've learned and so I'm gonna be trying to do that on a more consistent basis but probably only through YouTube just because I right now with my full time job I just don't have time to work on my website unfortunately but I'll probably tinker on it here and there so if there are any updates I will make sure to post it on my youtube channel but for now what I'm gonna be doing is I'm gonna be posting a couple of really high quality work at home job leads these are legitimate opportunities but you can apply too if you're looking to work from home generally with these kinds of jobs you will need to have some sort of experience but if you if you don't have any experience just keep watching because occasionally there will be work at home job leads that will come up that will not require a ton of experience and so one of the companies that I'm going to profile today doesn't require a ton of experience and that's Transcom and I'll talk about that but just to give you a heads up on what you can expect I will be my goal is to post job leads Monday through Friday and then on Saturdays and Sundays I'll post work at home business opportunities for those of you who are more interested in starting a work at home business because there are lots of really neat business opportunities and some of them are very low costs some of them are even free to start and I'll try to just go through those over the next few months on Saturdays and Sundays for those of you who are interested so for today um it is Wednesday June 27th 2018 and today's job leads are coming from two companies the first one is Transcom and the second one is Sedgwick they are hiring work from home customer service representatives both companies also provide benefits it looks like Transcom pays ten to twelve dollars per hour so you'll probably start out at ten if you don't have a ton of experience it is looking for people to work 32 to 40 hours a week so just be aware of that and they're hiring from specific states only I'm gonna go through the list really quickly I'll also put this in the description at the bottom of this video they're hiring from Alabama Arkansas Florida Georgia Idaho Illinois Indiana Iowa Kansas Kentucky Louisiana Missouri Minnesota Mississippi Missouri Nebraska Nevada New Hampshire New Mexico North Carolina North Dakota Ohio Oklahoma Pennsylvania South Carolina South Dakota Tennessee Texas Utah Virginia and in Wisconsin so that's Transcom and let me go over a little bit of the information so that you can know what this company offers let me bring up the info that I have on this company okay so this is currently a tech support position that they're offering however you don't need to be an IT professional to qualify or to apply so now again it's 10 to 12 dollars per hour it's not an official pay scale but that's what employees who former employees or current in place are reporting that they get paid and when I interviewed for Transcom that's what they confirmed with me too that it was $10 to start so if you love technology if you love to find smarter ways to do your favorite things you might be good at sharing your knowledge with others in a work from home technical and customer support representative role with Transcom so what you'd be doing is you'd be multitasking using several systems to assist callers who are calling in with billing questions troubleshooting service issues and providing support for an internet service provider that's who you'd be working for if you got the project through Transcom and the client that you'd be working for for Transcom it's a global communications company and what they offer is paid training 100% work at home now your training would also be in a virtual classroom environment so you'd be able to train from home let's see what else now it looks like they do offer health benefits including medical dental vision 401 K investment options with employer match opportunities are available so as far as the requirements you have to be at least 18 years or older you have to have a high school diploma you have to be able to pass a criminal background check you have to have excellent English skills written and verbal you should have call center and work at home experience they prefer that but it's not required so as I said this an entry-level position for those of you who have never worked from home you should be courteous friendly and professional on a call you should be able to multitask and navigate multiple screens while talking to customers on the phone it is a fast-paced work environment you'll need to you know quickly be able to toggle through different computer screens while listening to customers you'd also be able to get me to be able to have a high level of empathy because sometimes these customers are calling and upset about something that went wrong with their service and you'd also need to have strong computer knowledge and skills including being able to type at least 25 words per minute and I think that's it although your schedule just FYI your schedule may include evenings weekends and holidays so that is let me take you over to Transcom and I'm gonna put this link at the very very bottom of this email and this is where you would get started you put your name your email address and go ahead and attach your resume and then you would start the application process okay so the next company the second and last company that we're going to talk about today is Sedgwick so if you have a high school diploma or a GED GED and Sedgwick is hiring right now they they specialize in processing insurance claim they're hiring service center associates and you can basically work from any state in the u.s. they do offer benefits these are full-time positions so you'd be helping to put together information needed to process insurance claims and you'd be helping them to move along faster for your clients now the pay from what I've been able to research now don't quote me on this 100% but from what I've been able to research the pay average is about 14 an hour but you could start out at $12 per hour and you can go up to $15 per on the high end so let's see so again you'd be working with the claims application process and let me see if I can find out any more information if I wrote down anything else um as far as what you'd be doing you'd be assigning new claims to the appropriate claims handler you'd be entering verbal and written application information directly from the customers sometimes you'd be contacting the customers by telephone by email or via their claims system regarding any documentation they that may be required to process their claim you'd be you'd need to be able to speak clearly and professionally with a customer via telephone or via written correspondence and then I'm trying to think of anything else you should have at least one year of customer service experience and that's pretty much it so here is the link to send wick I'm gonna go ahead and put this at the bottom of the email as well and
