ideally want to post as steam hunts as close to midnight as possible that enables you to get as many votes and comments and likes so we can just see here that there's not much money being allocated here at the moment but if we actually go to yesterday's Steam hunts we can actually see that the amount that these people have received is dependant on rating of their account and the amount of votes that they have so this particular product they are 11 dollars 80 finding the product and publishing it or just have a quick look and see what that looks like it might only take you about 15 or 20 minutes so that's not too bad now what actually happens here is you posted a hunt and a moderator will come by and just verify the hunt to make sure that you are actually qualified for a and up vote and basically at the end of the day they have a bot called a steam hunt bot and it goes through and it works out who's going to get a little bit of extra money in the vote department so in this case it got five dollars 45 from Steam hunt and the rest was actually given via votes from the community so that's pretty cool when you're starting off you're probably only going to be earning about five dollars it can't get up to no 10 or 15 depending on how many people actually vote so if I go and have a look at my profile here I can see I'm still at level one so I've only done a couple of hunts the more steam hunts you do in this successful and the more votes you get and the more participation of a community the higher the hunting level you have and potentially the more rewards you'll get yesterday I actually published this one here and I've got five dollars 34 that was for about twenty minutes work so if we have a look in here as well there's another way to earn a little bit of extra money on Steam hunt and that's by making a sensible comment so here's somebody got uploaded by a dollar twenty-five now and here's another one that's a dollar twenty one so you might make an extra dollar or so by just participating in the community and making comments about products that people list so that's pretty cool as well there is one other thing with steam puns before we go into submitting one and that is the hunt tokens that you also get besides having money now hunt tokens is another cryptocurrency that's coming online they could be worth something in the future so you get a few of those by just voting and commenting and things like that so definitely worth keeping an eye on as well but we're here to make money so let's go and submit a product now I didn't mention it but you need to have a steam account to actually participate on the Steam hunts you can obviously browse all the products but if you want to actually make some money well you need to first of all sign up now I'll put the link to steam it down below there's a couple of options just go for the sign up for free it doesn't actually take one to two weeks it won't actually take too long maybe a few days but you know once you've got a steam and account there's other things you can do as well I'll pop a link up in the corner there just explaining a little bit more about steam it anyway let's go ahead and add our first Steam hunt so whereabouts do you find cool products to list on Steam hunt well you can go to IndieGoGo or maybe you're even going on to Kickstarter but there's plenty of other places on the web on blogs and things like that that reveal these cool products that you can share now the only thing is you need to make sure it's unique so I went ahead and found this product here it's called the Browse Buster and basically you copy the link in here and paste it in if it's actually had a Steam hunt already it should come up and because it doesn't well go ahead and add the name of the product so it's just called growls Buster and we could write a short description here we have a look on the website smart gadget that prevents drowsy driving so we could actually use that so let's go ahead and just pop in a device smart gadget that prevents drowsy driving okay so now we need to go ahead and we add some photos here so I've gone ahead and just copy a few of those it's just a drag-and-drop situation so usually you put your best photo first that's the one that will be featured and then we go ahead and we just drag a few other photos like that and when perhaps just add this one here like that so all these photos all add up and this is what it will look like and it just sort of scans through the different photos so that's the photos out the way now let's go ahead and add some hunter comments so it's basically what you think about the product and if you think it's actually going to be half-decent or not I've gone ahead and just created some words and as you see here we've actually got a photo in here as well on how to actually do it so I got that from the website and I've just basically put a link in there so there is another picture on the actual website that I could use that could get some interest it's just a gift so I'm just going to copy the image address and why we will just pop that down here like that so that just populates into there so that's fine so that's my drowse Buster listing we just need to finish this off and add some tags so I like to use the word design driving but you can use any tags you want you just need about four tags so driving design driving life ok so there's three tags I can use for it now so that's all I need to do I just go through and verify that the words are right and I've spelled it correctly because grammar is important and now I will just go ahead and hit the post button now it takes a little bit of time but the post has been successfully published and there is the Browse Buster listing so if I actually click over here have a look at my profile now I should see that in my list here so there it is there we can go ahead and upload that but I don't think you actually get money for when you update your own products so hopefully I get a few comments and maybe up votes during the day and maybe I'll get a little bit of money by the time that the product hunt finishes for tonight so as I said that's not the only way you can earn money on Steam hunt you could go ahead and just have a look through some of these other products here and maybe there's something that interests you and you have a little read you can go ahead and write a comment down there or you can just go ahead and give them an upvote as well so that actually will help them out and maybe they'll earn a few more dollars so this is the airwheel a3 it's being listed normally you want to go ahead and make sure that it's been approved before you go and make comments and what-have-you because it might be a duplicate product so no one's actually gonna get anything from a duplicate product ah it looks pretty cool so I just give them an upvote for that so that also helps your reputation as well because you're participating in the actual community normally I'd go ahead and add a comment as well but taking heaps of your time already so that is Steam hunt it's a great way to earn a little bit of extra money online so go ahead
