[Music] hi guys i’m melissa and welcome back to my channel i hope you’re having an amazing day i am so excited to let you guys know that I have been currently working on creating a series of step by step by step tutorials to show you exactly how to create your own website so if you have been wanting to start a blog whether it’s a travel blog a fashion blog a food blog or if you have been wanting to create an online portfolio of your work to share with your clients or maybe you’ve been wanting to start an eStore if you make your own products you make your own candles or you make your own soaps and you want to start an online store or maybe an online store to sell digital downloads like your audiobook or your eBook or an online course I am going to show you step-by-step exactly how to do that also how I created my audiobook so if you’ve wanted to create an audio book I’m going to show you everything I did to create mine from the equipment that I use to the editing software the entire process from beginning to finish including how to set up an online store where you can feature your digital download files and products you know I am all about inspiring you to create the life of your dreams and to pursue fulfilling work and I’ve really been thinking a lot lately about what I can create what I can share with you that will be a practical tool something hands-on that I believe will really help you on your path and help you to create more fulfilling work for yourself risen I wanted to make this video in advance of releasing the tutorials is that I’ve got some homework for you so if you’re going to be following along and participating in this web creation web design series then I would like you to come prepared with first of all a name or if you’re not a hundred percent sure about what website you want to create yet but you know you want to do one then try to narrow down to a few or at least compile a list that has a few words that you know we want to use as part of your name you can also use your own name like I use Melissa Alexandria which are my first and middle names and also I want you to have two fonts that you’ve chosen for your website the first one is going to be a header font which is going to generally be more of the bold font potentially it could be all caps and is going to be the font that you’re going to use for the menu bar on your website and if you have a blog it’s going to be for the header of each blog post and the second font is going to be for the bulk of your text so this is going to be the smaller font again if you have a blog if you’re wanting to create a blog this will be for the paragraphs of the blog post so it should definitely be something that is legible and easy to read especially on mobile devices when the text is going to be quite a bit smaller so just keep that in mind when you’re choosing your fonts and also keep in mind when you’re choosing your fonts to try to choose two fonts that complement each other and look nice together if you have a logo already then it would be great to have a logo PNG file ready for the tutorial if you don’t have one yet that’s okay I may include it in a tutorial or make a separate video showing you how to design a logo and I’ll share that separately also if you could choose one accent color for your website this is a color that you want to be part of your theme and it’s going to be something that is subtly used throughout your site and so just to recap a big part of the reason I am creating these videos and going to share this series of tutorials with you is because you know over the past a while when I’ve been sharing my videos on you know trying to inspire you and motivate you to create your dream life I get quite a few questions from people who are saying you know yes I’m inspired I want to create my dream life but I don’t know how to do this I don’t know how to go about you know setting up a business I do know how to go about creating an income source for myself online so I’m also going to show you how you can monetize your new blog how you can create income sources online from your new website and I really really want to help you along this journey if you are in on this challenge and you would like to share the type of website or the type of blog that you’d like to create you can feel free to share that with me and everyone else in the comment section down below and I’m really looking forward to seeing the websites that you guys create and if you want to share them with me when you’re done I would love to check them out and see what you’ve made thanks so much for watching guys and I’ll see you in my next video [Music] you [Music]
