hey there Adrian here from the lifestyle compound calm and in this video I wanted to give you a bit of a rundown on my newest project and take you through my journey dropshipping so far so this is my newest little project I’m working on and really excited about it about getting it up getting it going so basically if you don’t or drop shipping years it’s basically where you have a shopfront a store or website and you take orders through there for whatever it is you’re selling but you’re not actually shipping them out or handling the products so you find a drop shipper and that has the product you want and they actually send the product out so you don’t have to hold any stock or or handle the products ship them out anything like that so you’re basically just the storefront taking the sales and then passing the sale on the order the invoice to the dropship out and they send it out it’s that’s just a quick basic overview of drop shipping so that’s what I’m getting into I’m really excited to do that I’ve always wanted a online shop kind of deal so see how it goes so basically I’ve just been doing this for about three weeks now not actually doing it just going through a course and getting to the point where I am now so I’ve got access to a course really good dropshipping course and I’ve been through the first few sections so first section is kind of just going through finding a niche and narrowing it down so I got about 60 to 70 ideas so I got that together because you know so only a few of them will actually probably be in good and so I did that and at this point I actually hired a coach as well because I was going into Facebook groups and just talking to people and getting advice you know what to and friend of mine actually pointed me to this guy he’s like he had heap he has heaps of dropshipping stores in order for years so I’ve had to coaching sessions with him now and the first one we went over my niches and he narrowed it down to a few and then I chose one from that and then the next section of the course is just about building the site and building out like a basic demo site it doesn’t have to be perfect at this stage I’m just building it out so that you have something to show potential suppliers for when you ring them so potential drop shippers so that was the next section is finding suppliers calling them up etc etc so I have literally actually just finished calling suppliers about half an hour ago and and yeah that boosts but mostly all the people I ran are on board you notice it’s really cool from my list you know sort of half of them probably weren’t really the kind of company that I wanted or needed and the other half basically on board some probably easier to work with than others have better prices etc but yeah really really excited with that was Agra actually because I was really sort of fretting about and thinking I’m going to call these people and it’s not really something I enjoy doing but actually went really well you know got a role and just kept calling it’s really good so it really happened how that went and the next stages I guess will be adding all the products to the site filling the site out really optimizing make sure everything’s working and all that kind of stuff which is probably going to take me another few weeks and then hopefully making the site live and hopefully making this out so we’ll see how it goes obviously I had to choose a domain name as well that’s another thing as well that stomped you for a little bit it’s really Assurant and I’m also doing the store within Australia so it’s a little bit different to the u.s. from what I’ve learnt so far things aren’t quite so straightforward in Australia to do it so yeah that’s pretty exciting for me and look out for part two of this video and this is just part one just sort of going through what I’ve gone through so far about the last roughly three weeks and then maybe I’ll do another one in another three weeks or four weeks or something to see where I’m at and yeah hope you enjoy the video if you did please hit the like button or subscribe for a lot more videos like this and also if you want to get my free gift on my website the lifestyle compound com I’ve put together a free freedom pack and basically it’s the 21 days awesome cheat sheet that I keep adding to improve them all the time to create more freedom in your life free access to my productivity hacks training course and people’s – all of my udemy courses on udemy so that’s you know a Kindle publishing Empire course my travel hacking course and all the others I have I have about I think eight or nine courses they’re online so that’s all completely free if you do go to the site that we link here somewhere or in the description and yeah hope you check it out I hope you enjoyed the video and thanks for listening I’ll see you next time Cheers
