hey this is truly I agree and in this video I’m gonna show you how to market on Craigslist effectively to grow your home business and what I’m gonna show you it’s it’s not complicated it’s not technical I know there are a lot of trainings out there that’ll teach you how to post you know 20 ads a day on Craigslist may they get into changing your IP address and purchasing phone verified accounts I’m not gonna get into that because this is not about how to generate hundreds and hundreds of leads this is how to use Craigslist effectively to actually get results to grow your home business you know at the end of the day the most important part of this whole puzzle is how many sales that you actually make you know it doesn’t matter if you made a hundred leads if you got 100 leads if you made zero sales all you did really was waste your time so I’m gonna focus on getting results from Craigslist and by doing that I’m gonna show you my whole sales process I’m not just gonna show you how to post an ad I’m gonna show you what I do and you know you know when I post an ad where that where that lead go or where that prospect goes and where they go from you know one website to another I’m gonna show you the whole process so that you see exactly what I do to get results and it’s something that you can take and duplicate and implement in your own home business to get results in whatever you’re trying to promote now this training is up-to-date Craigslist did make some changes as far as you can’t post images and you can’t post links or clickable links in the body of your ads anymore so I do have that in mind that I’m gonna show you how to how to not really get around it but how to use that and how to take advantage of that okay so when you go to Craigslist for example I’m in Charlotte North Carolina so when I go to Craigslist typically I would be at the Charlotte section of Craigslist right now among Greensboro’s because Charlotte is a high-traffic area so they would charge me $25 to put an ad there now I’m not against that for the sake of this video though just to show you the process I’m going to go to Greensboro which is about an hour and a half away from now on the right hand side of Craigslist you’re gonna see a bunch of cities what I see is gonna be different than what you see most likely especially if you’re like out in California this is called your geographical limit these are cities that I can post in that the the chances of my ad actually showing are very very good now if I try to go to California and you know post in one of the cities out there chances are my ads not going to show so what I like to do is just keep it within the geographical limit again this is not about how many ads I could possibly post or you know how many leads I could possibly get this is how many sales I could actually make from Craigslist so what I’m gonna do is start out in Greensboro you know I can post in Raleigh Raleigh is about two and a half hours away from me I can post in always different places I just want to keep it within this within within this region here so I’m going to go up here I’m going to go to post to classifieds and what I’m gonna do is I post in the job section the job section is probably the most traffic section within Craigslist and from here I just click I will abide by these guidelines then you can move up and down this list and pick a section that you want to post your ad in I typically like to keep it in the customer service section or the sales section but you can play around and see what works best for you I just know with what I promote these two sections work best oops I selected the wrong one and so I’m going to go to the sales jobs and post here you can put your phone though you know have people contact you by phone and text depending on what you’re promoting I personally leave this off just because I like I don’t like to speak to people unless they’re actually a like a lead you know I’ll talk to leads and I’ll talk to I’ll definitely talk to new customers but as far as somebody who just has a bunch of questions I don’t want to be on the phone all day asking you know answering stupid questions that typically don’t turn in sales for me so you can put you you can test that out for whatever you’re promoting I personally leave that blank though as far as your posting title and you’re posting body this is where you’re gonna separate yourself from every other ad that’s on Craigslist you’re gonna post with posture and what I mean by that is if you look at if you go to Craigslist and you go the job section you look at what other people are posting you can typically tell what’s you know a high P business opportunity and you can tell what is actually a legitimate job think of who is going to Craigslist looking you know looking in the job section think of the time you know you’re not in your target market if you’re promoting a business opportunity right now you’re outside of your target market but it’s it’s okay because you know if this is a free method of marketing so if you’re you know if you were looking for a job and you came across something that was hyping and you know the game-changing business opportunity and join our team today you know that that’s probably it probably doesn’t line up with what you’re looking for so that’s why I like to use posture within my within my ads because you’re talking to people who are who are thinking in terms of a job you know you don’t want to be misleading you don’t want to tell people it is a job because you know unless it is but you know with what I promote I promote a company called DS domination DS domination is a business opportunity that teaches people how to drop ship from Amazon basically copy and paste products from Amazon put it on eBay mark it up and they’re literally creating money out of thin air now as easy as it is and to be honest with you every single person that I’ve ever recruited who has you know gone through the trainings and has done the work has made money with the program but even you know with that in mind I still don’t hype up the program I keep this you know I can’t keep my target you know the people that are looking at my ads I keep them in mind and thinking of what they’re what they’re looking for so in the posting title I put something as simple as far as eBay listing order fulfillment you know you don’t want to make this stand out you don’t want to make it too glamorous you just want to keep it very simple in this specific location I’ll put Greensboro and I already wrote an ad for this just for the sake of time and sake of this video so I’m gonna go ahead and copy and paste that over you know I’ll cover with you how my ads laid out so first thing I just establish some credibility I tell people I’m a power seller on eBay I tell them a little bit about what they’ll be doing you know they won’t be buying or storing inventory or shipping products just copy and paste and I just let them know that they’ll be trained on everything that they need to know the next part this is where you’ll kind of set the tone you know set set some more posture just let them know what you’re looking for you know you want somebody who’s 18 or older I want somebody who can work unsupervised navigate a computer I want somebody who has their own computer and internet connection and then you know as far as a customer service or sales background is preferred but not required that’s not you know with a business opportunity people don’t typically say that they just take you know everyone they could possibly think to take but you also want to prequalify people before they even look at your your video and then below this is where you’ll separate yourself from from a lot of marketers that are out there when craigslist introduced their i guess their policy that to where they no longer allow image ads or they no longer allow clickable links within their ads a lot of people that were marketing on craigslist decided it wasn’t for them anymore they they just figured that you know you just can’t mark it on craigslist anymore and it’s just it’s a dead marketing platform now when that happened i saw a lot of people fall by the wayside and i just i saw that as such an opportunity because to be honest with you if you’re thinking in terms of the person that’s looking at your ad if somebody is actually looking for a way to make money they’re going to they’re gonna do whatever you tell them to do in order to get more information you know so from here I just I put my website down you know if somebody’s looking for more information they’re gonna copy this and they’re gonna paste it into a new browser window and they’re gonna check out my website so what I’m gonna do from there I’m gonna go down to the conversation you have to fill this part out I have something pre-written already so I just put something in there I also like to check the the telecommuting yeah I noticed that I do generate more leads when I have that check for some reason so from here I’m not actually gonna post the ad just because I already have one posted in Greensboro this was just to show you what I do and how I go through my do the process but you would just click continue and you would go through the process and just post your now you know your keep in mind like the way that I do it I do one ad every 24 hours some people say you could do 2 to 3 ads I don’t like to push the envelope because I don’t like to jeopardize my account I kind of like to fly under the radar 1 AD every 24 hours you can renew your ads every 48 hours but if you’re doing one at a day you figure over two weeks you’re gonna have at least 14 ads running between 10 and 14 ads that are giving generating leads and I’m also going to show you now I’m going to show you the process that I use to actually take those leads and make and turn those into sales okay so what happens is when somebody goes to my website they come across my capture page if you don’t know what a capture page is it’s just basically a it’s a simple website that’s going to capture information from your prospect before they they see the full spectrum and learn all about whatever you’re promoting so the capture page that I have that you see in front of you this is probably the highest converting capture page I’ve ever put up it’s not the prettiest it’s not the nicest one but it’s the just the concept you know when they come here it’s not like I immediately asked them for their email address I first asked them one question how’d you hear about us they’ll click Craigslist they click Next and then the next part then I asked them for the email address once they put their email address in now this is where a lot of marketers drop the ball you know typically what they do is they little once they collect the email address they’ll have their website their capture page redirect them to a the company sales video that’s where you know if you’re marketing you know in other avenues to your target market that is not a bad thing that may work however if your marketing on Craigslist what you want to do is once they put in their email address and they move forward you want to send them to what’s called a sandwich video the sandwich video looks like this this is you know my sandwich video for dsdomination all you’re doing is you have a simple one-page website where you’re it’s just it’s a video of you talking the point of the video is to tell people your name give people a little bit of background but what you really want to accomplish with the video is let P know that you’re a real person that you’re you know it this is not a hype program this is not something that it’s just like they’re gonna sign up and they’re not gonna have any support they’re not gonna have any anyone to talk to let them know that you’re you’re here for them and that you’re you know you just just be genuine in this video keep it less than two minutes you know my video is about a minute and a half long if you want to check out my video and see what I say in my video I’ll have a link below in the market a program that was for it was $4.99 or $12.99 to join the way that i did it i actually marketed in that program a lot of my organization was built on craigslist the way that i did it was I had to use a funded proposal a funded proposal is something to wear something you offer on the front end that has a lot of value to people that you’ll give away for free or at a very very low cost if they join you in your network marketing business and so at the time I had you know before dsdomination lon I had you know we Roger and I Rogers the guy that owns the asama nation he he put the whole program together he had a sales video where he was showing people how to make money on eBay and the way they got the training was if they signed up with us for $4.99 or $12.99 with the other program
