hey there and welcome to this video about how to start an online business I’m going to be sharing with you three proven profitable strategies for building a lifestyle friendly online business from with any one of these business models you have to have traffic and you have to have conversions you’ve gotta have people coming into proximity with your offer so if you picture like you know a busy highway like a billboard you know that’s like real traffic well we’re essentially just talking about is online traffic and you know people online coming into proximity with your website or your offer and and then conversions essentially turning those clicks turning those website visitors into customers at a high volume in maximizing sales now the reason I’m mentioning that because you know the marketing now affiliate marketing is how I’ve been making my living for the past ten years in the world of online marketing and one thing that I that I noticed you know back when I started my first online business in 2008 is that within a business essentially of selling other people’s products it’s like I get an affiliate link and then I can I can sell other people’s like very well-put-together products and sales funnels and I can leverage you know very very successful marketers and some of the things that they’ve put together so I don’t have to build it all from scratch it’s one of the very the the best leveraged ways to build an online business because you don’t have to build a website you don’t have to create a product you don’t have to have a storefront you don’t have to up a lot of times you don’t have to ship products so there’s a lot of leverage because you’re plugging into proven systems where they do a lot of the heavy lifting for you and some of the sites like that you know that are common for affiliate marketing things like Shopify or I’m sorry things like Amazon you could be an Amazon affiliate you could be an affiliate with a cyclone Clickbank where there’s thousands and thousands of different products that you can promote I have you know I’ve got a handful of different products that I promote as an affiliate that relate to the world of digital marketing affiliate marketing has kind of been my bread and butter and the you know the main strategy has helped me you know live a life of complete freedom and autonomy in my own successful online business okay so the next strategy I want to share the next online business that’s very profitable very profitable way to to start an online business is with e-commerce now I’ve never personally done ecommerce just because most of my business is in you know the the affiliate marketing world and this third the this is third method that I’m gonna be sharing with you in a minute but I have some friends that are just are just killing it with with with e-commerce businesses this is where you start a store on like Shopify or you know there’s another one called teespring where you can make design t-shirts and stuff it’s basically like selling physical products and it’s a really leveraged way of creating a successful online business because because of the capabilities of things like Facebook and YouTube you can really target people based on things that they’re interested in so I mean you could sell coffee cups or you could sell you know t-shirts about you know that better that are you know that are you know specific to things that people are into so for example I live in Denver Colorado there’s a lot of Broncos fans here you know I could sell Broncos of merchandise right and I can put it in front of Broncos fans because there’s a lot of people on sites like Facebook and YouTube that make it very well-known that that is something that they’re very much into and one thing that I’ve learned along the way is that is that if you want to make a lot of money in an inch you have to have the presence of one of two things the first thing is pain right if there’s if there’s people that are experiencing pain and it could be and could be emotional pain if you put if you’re a product or what you offer provides a pain relief then you can do very very well the second thing is fanatical people right so any any time where you can where you can promote something where there are people that are better extremely fanatical like they will spend irrational amounts of money on that thing because there’s such a huge fan so think of you know bands think of sports teams think of you know like dogs I know a lot of people that do very well with e-commerce businesses in the pet industry and then that opens up all things of like people that are really into golden retrievers people that are really into poodles this is just an entire world of possibility and a very very successful way to start an online business and we have training in you know in our in our program that shows you how to start an e-commerce business if that’s your thing now the third thing now this looks a little bit more advanced this is digital consulting so if you’re just getting started I would say affiliate marketing or e-commerce is probably the best way to start however digital consulting is something that is extremely extremely profitable and it is a very very high demand so essentially there’s all kinds of businesses out there that that they need so they need somebody to build social media campaigns they need somebody to create Facebook pages and Twitter accounts and YouTube channels and build those audiences they make video production they made all kinds of things that most you know I mean of course there’s a lot of a lot of you know very very big businesses that already you know have that stuff done in-house but there’s millions and millions of small businesses that will gladly pay somebody like yourself or somebody like myself you know $1,500 a month $2,000 a month to run some some of these social media campaigns to drive traffic using Facebook Ads of course it doesn’t mean that you’ve better know how to do those things but that’s something that a lot of people like myself I will learn how to do those things by having a successful affiliate marketing business and then I was able to do what I did for myself building a successful affiliate marketing business for other people and you know you know charge a very high price tag because you know there’s businesses that have advertising budgets that will gladly pay somebody like me to run Facebook ad campaigns or to you know make you know make you know to build out their social media audiences or build up their YouTube audiences or even make make video content or other kind of content there’s so many different things that businesses will gladly pay you large amounts of money to do for them because they just do not want to do it themselves so this is actually the strategy that my friend Jack proposes come over here my friend Jeff is the longtime mentor of mine in the world of home-based business and online marketing and he’s the guy that dug himself out of 400,000 and he’s been key that he did that using affiliate marketing but then he started a digital consulting business that went on to do millions and millions of dollars over the course of the next couple years I think he said he builds that business he’ll like he’s got it so like outsource and he’s got it so like down to such a science I think he says he spends about an hour a week on that particular business and he makes I think it’s about six million dollars a year with this digital consulting business so this is the page
