just a place where i share legitimate ways to work from home online or once in a while i’ll share some really cool side hustles and gigs and so forth that you can do to earn extra income full-time income or even launch your own you know side business so welcome and hopefully this information is helpful to you on today’s video i’m just going to share with you guys and talk to you guys a little bit about companies that may charge fees and I’ll share with you companies that do not charge fees to work for them so I know that you may be you know getting started with working on you know searching for work at home jobs and you begin the process of applying to a position only to find out that they require some sort of fee I do get emails of people who are concerned about you know these companies that are charging certain fees and you know ask them what exactly are the fees for and majority of the time I would here you know for background fees or training materials and so forth now I would then tell them you know you definitely want to find out if these companies are hiring you as an independent contractor okay because there’s a difference between being an independent contractor versus an employee so if you are you know looking for work at home jobs then you have to keep that in mind you want to educate yourself I do have information that talks about independent contractor versus employee I’ll post the article below this video so you guys can you know view the article and you can read up on more information about that but yes there are work from home companies that will charge you a fee for background check and so forth and those companies tend to hire you hire you as an independent contractor and an independent contractor is responsible for you know paying for that you’re also responsible for you know taking out your own taxes and so forth okay so the article that I you know put together we’ll go into that a little bit more details and that will give you a better understanding so some of the companies such as live ups they do charge background fee in my day it was like thirty five dollars in background fees today they’re charging sixty five dollars I believe so it doesn’t mean that it’s not legitimate there are legit work from home companies okay now if you do come across some shady company that’s charging some outrageous fees for for God knows what’s you definitely want to you know do your research on this company and so forth I also put together an article that talks about what to look for when you are searching for jobs online like you know how to watch out for scams how to know whether it’s a scam or if it’s legit and so forth okay just because you know you come across the company that charges a fee doesn’t mean that’s it’s a scam it’s basically you just have to you know educate yourself about it and find out what exactly are the fees for or is it a background fee and if so okay this must be independent contracting type of job now I’m just gonna share with you guys some major companies well-known companies that you can trust that will not charge you for background fees keep in mind that they may be competitive especially in customer service tech support type of position they will be a bit competitive they will be legit though okay so our companies that you may like may want to consider is Dell they tend to hire customer service and tech support as well as chat support jobs so once in a while they may post positions on sites like indeed so you know you may want to google Dell work at home you know positions hiring sometimes these are companies such as Dell will hire in certain states so they do not hire all the time in every state okay you also want to check out Apple Apple is a well-known company they make iPhones and computers and so forth so they do tend to hire people to work from home and I believe sometimes they provide you with equipment such as maybe a computer or you know some equipment to work from home another company that’s well known is Amazon they I believe that they may be hiring at this time I do have a now hiring section on my website so you definitely want to check that out I did post a position that they are hiring for so I’ll link that in the description section of this video also enterprise rent-a-car or can Express is another company Hilton reservation they hire reservation agents and so forth to work from home and these company pay really well they are not considered independent contracting companies they hire you as an employee so you won’t have to worry about background fees or you know a sort of fees at all when you apply to these positions with these types of companies okay so those are like the major top companies that you may want to look into again they may be a little bit competitive another companies u-haul they sense a hire like overnight shift so if you’re someone looking for part-time working overnight or something they may want to check out u-haul okay they tend to hire they may hire specific states so again definitely check with them to see if they have available position in your state okay another type of work that you may want to consider if you don’t want to do background fees and pay for anything is going free let freelance work you can check out a site called ask wonder and you can be a freelance researcher for axe wonder and they pay really well they pay up to $35 per hour I’ve read from current people who work with them okay and you can also do some voiceover stuff and work with snap recording they always have like need for voice-over artists so if you’re a voice-over person then you can definitely get some work and get paid really well for that another another type of job you may want to consider is doing tutoring online teaching online teaching English if you speak English really well and you have really good grasp of grammar and the English language you could teach English online a great company that you may want to consider is VIP kid I’ll post the link below this video so you can click on it and planned start the application with them they paid twenty two dollars up to twenty two dollars per hour to their teachers okay and it’s like a part-time work okay and you get to you know choose it’s very flexible and it’s really cool companies to work for they have four and a half star rating and their teachers are very happy working with them so you may want to do some teaching teaching English you can also do tutoring there’s tutoring jobs online you can check out transparent language they hire online tutors they pay up to twenty dollars per hour um there’s a bunch of tutoring companies out there okay another type of work that you may want to consider I mentioned them a lot in videos is search engine evaluation jobs they tend to hire worldwide a few companies like app in Butler Lyon Bridge you can check out those companies for search engine evaluation jobs and that pays $15 up to fifteen dollars per hour and you just need internet access okay you can also do little micro jobs as well there’s sites like Fiverr there’s up work and those sites don’t charge you any fees they may take out a percentage of your pay so they can you know keep their platform running but that’s basically about it another thing is don’t be discouraged from companies that do charge fees if they’re legitimate well-known company such as LiveOps because you’ll make that back in a day on the phone seriously like in commissions and out in your hourly pay by itself you can make your background fee back I mentioned that to someone on facebook when they messaged me about it I was like you know I worked for LiveOps a couple years ago and it was like $35 for background fee that I paid and I made that back in like an hour when I started working with them okay chances are you won’t be paying that fee unless they already hired you so if they hired you to work and you just have to pay for that feat then pay the fee you’ll make that back in a day or two and more okay especially if you’re really good in like sales and so forth because it’s like a mixture of customer service and sales because you’re selling products so still you know it’s not a big deal if it’s a legitimate well known company then the background fee is not that big of a deal but if it is a big of a deal to you then you may want to stay away from independent contracting type of jobs not all of them will ask for a fee but majority of them will if you’re if they are hiring you as an independent contractor so contact the company and ask them if that’s what you will be considered if you’ll be filed on the independent contracting and you can also read their you know the Job Description most of the time they’ll let you
