I adds Mattingly’s again and today what we want to cover is our instant cash flow website buying strategy now this is my favorite strategy because I am more than more impatient of the two of us and I like to buy myself instant online income so in this session what I want to do is just show you how you by yourself instant and ongoing online income by buying yourself webs the right kind of websites so this is very important it’s not just about running out there and grabbing any old website it’s about going in with a strategy like we talked about before and also buying the right kind of websites to suit your strategy so most importantly though and this is something I think a lot of people forget is what you’re looking to buy is genuine websites with existing profit for this particular strategy what I’m looking for is a website that has everything already set up and it’s been proven in the marketplace to be a winner what I’m looking for is a genuine business and this is the same sort of thing that we did when we bought offline businesses and what we would recommend to our multimillion dollar clients when they’re buying off online and online businesses that they go for businesses that are genuine businesses that really do make a profit because what that does is give you instant online cash flow so what I mean by that is this is my diagram of a website my fantastic diagram of a website but what I’m looking for is a website that has some sort of money making system already applied to it so our favorite ones are the leveraged ones things like information products like ebooks and membership sites where if a sale is made I actually don’t have to do anything it’s um it’s all automated and so I day to day I don’t have to do anything to that website for it to make money the other thing that I love is advertising things like Adsense buy sell ads and banner advertising services so advertising again very very leveraged as long as you’ve got high levels of traffic of good quality traffic that advertisers are wanting to put their advertisements in front of and the other thing that we use is what we call OPP so you might have heard of OPM which is other people’s money what we like to use on websites is OPP which is other people’s products so again we’ve been we’ve come from a manufacturing background where we needed to deal with stock we had to stand out orders and all that sort of thing and gone are the days when we need to have half our net worth tied up in a warehouse in stock what we now want to do is sell other people’s products and get paid a commission for it so things like affiliate products affiliate networks products where we can sell we can create a link and sell a product and we don’t have to do anything for that sale to happen we don’t have to send out product we don’t have to deal with returns or anything like that so we’re looking for that website with that money making system already set up already proven already kicking out the dollars and one that already has everything in place to drive the traffic to that website as well some things I might rank for particular terms in google it has good quality content real content it has the images all original images it has lots of good quality backlinks it might have social media accounts like Pinterest or YouTube or Facebook all that stuff already set up already in place already driving traffic and already making a profit what that does is it bypasses again if you’ll remember we’re looking for shortcuts so what buying this kind of website shortcuts all that that creation that the person who built that website had to go through and the testing phase as well as you know with any website that you start from scratch you’ve got to go through a phase where you’re not quite sure whether it’s going to work or not I want to buy ones that I know are already working so now here’s another level in of the sort of thing that we look for when we’re buying these kind of websites because we’re doing it for the long term so we’re building a portfolio of assets so what we’re looking for is first of all evergreen topics and what by that what we mean is topics that are never going to go away things like them health wealth and happiness they’re things that people are always going to be wanting to find out about or buy products for or be looking up and researching so evergreen topics not we don’t tend to buy fed topics kind of sites that would things like I mean ipad 5 iphone 5 sorry in couple years time iphone 5 will be replaced by whatever the next iPhone is going to be and any websites that are about that may drop will probably drop in traffic and also drop it in profitability we’re also looking for growing or steady markets so the topic needs to be something that people are still looking up are still interested in and it’s something we’re looking into the future so we want something that’s going to be growing into the future we also want leverage monetization like we’ve just talked like I’ve just talked about things that I don’t have to do anything once I’ve bought the website and its making money it’s bringing money in I’m going to do my renovation and there’s going to be some little bit of maintenance to do on that website but in terms of the day-to-day running there’s not nothing I need to do to keep that monetization going and of course the fourth thing that we look for is also a website that can be sold for top price so ideally if you can buy websites in markets where there’s either competitors or big players that are looking to buy these websites or there’s there’s good buyers in that marketplace you’re buying yourself a winner because no matter what happens in the future if you need to make money if you need to sell a website if you’ve got a good website in with an evergreen topic in a growing market with leverage monetization and good buyers in place then you will be able to get top price for that website
