I’ve been making a full time living online for 10 years, give or take and I just want to share some tips with you if you’re considering quitting your job. To start in on my business or if you want to just work from home alright tip number one a lot of people try to take the burn the ships route now what this means is a lot of people think they can just quit their job right away and just force themselves to start a business so they think that by quitting the job they’ll have their back against the wall and they’ll be forced to create a business and push it forward now the problem is or the reality is is that like any business out there or any opportunity out there it is going to take an initial time period before you start earning an income so I don’t know what your monthly expenses are but chances are you aren’t going to be able to quit your job and build a affiliate site or make your own product and have it working within you know a month or even six months if you’re a beginner alright so what you want to do instead of just quit and go all-in I recommend that you keep your your job work that and sacrifice instead the time that you spend watching like Game of Thrones or playing Pokemon go or hanging out with friends going the bars getting drunk and having fun and partying take time from that and build a business or find a side gig online so that you can start earning income from a second opportunity here now during this time period all your going to focus on is making money at your job and building this business up slowly but surely until you gain that confidence in yourself as from a business standpoint that you can actually make this work alright so that’s what I recommend for tip number one tip number two is that I recommend that while you’re working this job save up as much money as you can because when you quit you finally quit your job it’s very crucial that you have about a year’s worth of savings in cash to give your mind some rest the worst thing you want to be or the worst emotional state you want to be in is panicking whether or not you’re gonna have money to you know pay the rent and pay the bills you will never be able to make a successful business when you’re freaking out and you’re making bad decisions that’s just the reality of it I know some people might be able to say that this helps them out maybe you are that type I don’t know I’m gonna bet they’re just by the law of averages here that you’re not because 99% of the people aren’t able to function like this this goes along with the idea of burning the ships you want some sort of nest egg or security before you just go all in with the business alright so that was tip number two tip number three work on developing skills I believe needs to be skills things like discipline self confidence persistence and courage you need all four of these traits if you want to be successful as a business owner now these are just like muscles you’re like working out pumping iron and all that the more you train them the better they get and if you let go or you let that that training stop eventually that skill is going to go to the wayside you’re going to lose that skill so these are things that you want to focus on building up over time so one of the things that I do to continually keep this up in addition to this to running the business is I work out first thing in the morning it’s hard to do it gives you pain it’s not fun but just doing this one out or at least one hour day in the morning will help you develop all four of those things that I just mentioned alright guys my name is Dan Brock the deputy super affiliate I hope you found this video valuable like I said I have a lot of videos on my channel here about starting an online business working from home affiliate marketing so check out the other videos on my channel it’s a great place for you to start if this is something that you want to do also share this video with your friends and comment below let me know if you have any questions about quitting your job to start your own business whether it be online offline if you need any encouragement wisdom any of that stuff I’ll do my best to share it with you by commenting back on your comment alright guys my name is Dan Brock the deadbeat super affiliate hope you enjoyed this video and I’ll see you in the rest of my channel in the next videos and all that all right here we go alright see you later
