my opinion and today I wanted to do a video all about how I run a business out of a small bedroom at the moment I stolen with my family and I know it can be really hard for some people to get motivated to want to start reselling or get discouraged because they don’t have an office or maybe they don’t have health and they’re just like a one-person business like myself so I just kind of wanted to share with you guys my setup in my room where I spend a lot of my time listening and Telsa sleeping right now my tripod is processed on my bed and I have my lighting that’s why we’ve been here for photos and YouTube so I’m in Excel to kind of I guess slightly going to be a room tour to so you guys can just see where I saw my time and how I’ve kind of decluttered a lot and gotten organized so I can work efficiently not lose things and make was seeing a lot easier on me to get my work done but also be a nice creative space that I want to be in and I want to come to and I don’t feel overwhelmed or like I don’t want to be in here so I’ll go ahead and get started in the video and I hope you guys enjoy it if you guys aren’t already following me on instagram you definitely shed ok so right when you walk in my room this is what you see I have my little vanity and desk right here a lot of like beauty makeup products I’m planning on doing some like cruelty-free type videos I have a few necklaces I have a little like dream and spiration board up there I’ve been adding to just to look at everyday and help me keep track of my goals and where I want to be have my ebay and youtube and just like some meditation stuff and inspiring quotes and I have a slick cool little mirror that I got from my mom from his cafe when I shut down she used to work there but for the most important part of this I wanted to share with you my setup right here where my mannequins are there we go that’s focused um as you I’ve seen here’s my older mannequin I first started out with it was originally black and white and then I spray-painted it a light almond color and I also think this is a great thing to do for anyone who wants to have like a different unique mannequin to get like a black and white one and lightly like spray paint it it gives it like that unique look like I’ve even gotten messages on eBay at people asking me like how old my mannequin is even though it’s not old at all my newer mannequin I got is a brand and I’ll probably leave a link down below where you guys can get it like a heavy-duty mannequin it’s adjustable I got it because I really wanted to start learning how to make clothes as well since I always find like a lot of pre fabrics up at their store and goodwill outlet or sometimes there’s holes and they’re really great fabrics of lace or embellishments that I could repurpose and turn into unique pieces and I just have like a nice little table as like a prop that I got at Target my peeper little backdrop I prefer paper because it doesn’t leave any wrinkles I literally just have tape holding it up and that little crocheted piece in the back I got I’d see a little pricey but I thought it was worth it to have like a staple piece on my listings and I finally put like a little thumbtack right there to hold up my hangars for when I need to hang up pants or like longer dresses that don’t fit on my mannequin I have to like leaving them on the ground and I kept stepping on those black ones and snapping them in half and I kept breaking them so I’m glad I finally needed that I’ll just feel like it’s easier when it’s elevated I have a little pile of stuff right there that I’m working on I just got these two drawer pieces they’re called Alex drawers I believe from Ikea I just got them to really simplify a lot of my like PJ and like lounge clothes that I wear on everyday life you know being a reseller I just felt like whatever fits in these drawers that’s what I need and if I have any more I should probably get rid of I’ve been really into like minimalism and things like that and getting rid of stuff which I plan on doing couple videos in the future about that I have some like pens and stuff up here I made it easier on myself I would always lose these or not be able to find my pens so I have them in a easy space to find these are some other stuff that I’ll put on the table sometimes just to switch out the props depending on how I’m feeling these are just some antique hands that I got antiques shop a long time ago and I painted white I found this plate at on the goodwill outlet a lot of stuff I found as a goodwill outlet this little like antique looking chandelier piece I got at the good wall as well I also just started putting a bunch of my stuff in this little box and I got this at a good wallet just to keep like my like my measuring tape my tide to go pens I use all the time now I didn’t used to use these but there’s a lot of like little makeup stains and stuff on the tags or around the collar and a lot of women’s tops are really delicate and so I use these so I don’t have to wash the items and like potentially ruin them I keep these little spelling scissors in here I love these they’re really tiny it shaped like a cute little bird and I also keep my other pair scissors in here too now a lot of selling stuff I sew a lot I fix a lot of pieces that are especially expensive because sometimes I findings and I don’t realize they have a hole that’s usually what happens and I will fix them or they already fold and then I’ll fix them I also plan on doing a video about that too I think it’s really important being a reseller especially if you’re selling women’s clothing to know how to hand sew and fix like simple little things to make sure that you don’t have to lose out on a sell because of that and over here I just have like this little nook area I got this little bench piece at Ross I keep like all my important information in there like tack stuff and papers I have cute little essential oils and like waterfalls kind of like calming for me and I’m spending a lot of hours in here just listing and have a few like nice little plants in here and of course my lighting I’m doing a video right after this video about how I photograph my items and things like that but I wanted to share with you guys my room first this is this cool little Arizona can that I use to focus the camera before I start filming I made it in high school and I kept it and that’s basically it was my door my room is not that big as you guys can see have a huge clothing rack in here I’ve had this in here for quite a while before I was even a reseller I was a big fashionista and I had way too many clothes I’ve gotten rid of before I started getting rid of things both of these rocks were in completely full and now it’s about half and half I have a ton of empty hangers now as you can tell a lot of empty hangers my closets pretty much full of empty hangers I’m keeping them for when I move out and I do have an office so I can hang up the bulkier items that are in my garage and in my closet I just have extra like boxes and Priority Mail stuff things that I don’t use everyday that aren’t poly Mellors for stuff that ends up being over one pound and yeah and then I just got a new fan because our house I have air conditioning and it’s insanely hot during the summer here in SoCal so I
