steps that you can implement to start a successful online business hi everyone and welcome back to my channel and if you need your welcome my name is Erin and I’m an Australian and business coach who helps female entrepreneurs break through their own limiting beliefs to build the digital Empire victory I thought today’s video I would share with you five simple things that you can do and I say simple not easy building a business is not an easy thing to do but this is a simple structure that you can implement that will clarify the steps that you need to take to truly succeed when starting an online business I work with women from all over the world who are starting an online business and I will tell you the limitations are quite common no matter who you are or where you are in the world I wanted to give you this five simple steps structure so that you can start implementing sooner rather than later the steps that you need to take to really start building the business of your dreams step one is that you need to condition your mindset for success now I’m sure you hear all over the internet and probably everywhere you go that you need to have an unwavering sense of belief in yourself if you are going to succeed in business and this could not be any more true fear self-doubt impulsive syndrome is going to come up as so many different changes not just in the beginning of your business but throughout your entire journey bruger’s and to wherever you end up in the future you need to develop these tools now not necessarily to be feel as that how to manage your fear and how to manage yourself down nothing is going to help you succeed more than if you trust your intuition and if you believe in yourself so before you start implementing any sort of business strategy you need to develop habits for working on yourself each and every single day maybe you can do this through a morning routine that might include automations visualization meditation you might also start including self-development content into your day maybe by reading or listening to podcasts or audiobooks or even in YouTube videos whatever it is just start making a commitment to yourself to work on yourself each and every single day and in comments in the beginning it might feel a little bit fake it might feel a little bit cheesy to be saying I am a success in the mirror or whatever your affirmations might be but keep at it consistency is what is going to get you to a point when you leaving yourself enough to finally build a business you desire another thing you need to do to condition your mind for success is to work on your money mindset now I’m not going to go into the full details of money mindset but basically your money mindset is your beliefs around money you need to feel comfortable investing in yourself and in your business whether it be in the development of your brand your website creating content hiring yourself a coach or a mentor going to seminars even just the books and things that you purchased for your business even if it’s advertising there are so many things that you require you to spend money on to scale your business to a level of success and you need to get in the mindset of not being fearful to spend money not every dollar that you spend in your business is going to have a hundred percent return I will guarantee you that from the beginning but you can’t expect other people to invest in your business as your customers or clients if you can’t even invest in it yourself building a business is a lot about taking chances and trusting your intuition the more you can work on your mindset self belief and money mindset the better chance you’re going to have at seeing success within your business the second thing you need to do to start building a successful online business is that you need to have clarity around what it is you are trying to achieve and I don’t just mean what your business looks like but what your business looks like or for your life what does doing this business mean for you who is it going to make you become you need to know all of this prior to selling your business it’s not enough to just sort of stab in the dark and go with emotions when you are starting a business you need to know exactly what it is that you want right from the get-go and you can do this obviously through setting goals but I forget they take some time at some alone time and I suggest you to over all of my clients take some time and take some time really relax get yourself a wine or a tea or whatever your drink of choice is what I’m the music and really start to think about what it is that you desire with your life and with your business okay exercise too this is called the perfect day exercise my page prescribed it to me I described it to my clients I’m pretty sure I’ve heard Lewis Hayes talking about this all over the internet but it’s basically just an exercise that leave you go through and you lift out what your perfect day would look like what are you doing when you wake up who you with where are you what did your work they look like what’s your job title who are you working with what type of work do you do how much do you get paid what do you do after work right from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to sleep write out what your perfect day looks like and then from that you should be able to develop some clear goals for what you want for your business and for your life now I have a full video on golfing which I will leave linked in the description below but when you are setting goals that make sure to always include why you want to achieve your goals so it’s not enough to just say I want to make $10,000 be my business why do you want to make $10,000 in your business when you are building your website or going through times of frustration if you can always do that for your goals and know exactly why you were doing what it is you are doing you’re going to feel a lot better along the entire journey every time you set a goal make sure you say why to go along with that goal the third step to building a successful online business is it learn how to take action now I think that your mindset and your goals in your vision is a very important part of starting a business or doing anything in life but I think these step that catches most of us up is the actual taking action part and a lot of this is to do with you we prevent herself through procrastination because we are fearful of failure or whatever we are fearful but you need to learn how to take action and no matter how small that action is when you write down your goals write down an action plan meet next to each girl so you say your goal is I want to launch my business by this day write down everything that you need to do to get yourself to launching your business and therefore you do evening up before you close the book on where you’ve written your goals before you stand up and go have a shower do your one of the steps on your list the sooner you get a head start in your business and the better it’s going to be for you and the less likely you are going to be able to procrastinate breakdown each and every single top so you have a communication of what you need to be doing each and every single day to achieve what it is you need to launch your business if you find yourself falling behind it then find yourself an accountability buddy like yourself of business desi go online join Facebook groups find someone that you can talk through your limitations while you’re holding yourself back from taking action with your business tell them what your goals are and make them hold you accountable and you do the same to vent being an entrepreneur can be really lonely and it’s really easy to prevent yourself from doing things when your mindset isn’t right if you have someone there by your side whether it be a coach or whether it be a friendly is made online or a friend in real life it doesn’t matter have someone to hold you accountable so that you have no chance of falling behind these four steps to building any successful online business is to understand your audience and find how to add value to them now I read something really great the other day and it was a machine in business books I carry great and she said a lot of people get into business making the mistake of thinking that their business is about them yes your business is might encompass your personal brand but at the end of the day your business is about your customers and the more that you can understand them their needs and their motivations and the better chance you’re going to have a being a success your call so it is when you’re thinking about your audience there shouldn’t be how you can bring more clients or customers into your business it should always see how you can add more value to your audience each and every single time I create something for my business there’ll be a YouTube video of Facebook post something for my Facebook group I always think will this add value will this help my audience in some sort of way and then from there it usually does bring me clients they try to focus on getting the clients in the first place I probably wouldn’t have as much success as I do Tony Robbins once said that if you can find a way to add more value than anyone else around even that you’re going to have no problem growing your business and that’s so true always focus on who your customer is what it is they want and how you can help them and my final tip before starting an online business is to work hard on your online presence and this doesn’t mean just building a beautifully easy-to-use website yes that is a very important part of starting an online business because modernizing your website is going to be your primary place of business but I need to make yourself known get into Facebook groups and start talking to people online network with people who are in your niche in your target market make friends with people add value to people through commenting on their images offer advice as much as you possibly can I know it sounds like a lot of work but if you want to establish yourself as a thought leader or as an expert in your industry you need to put yourself out there start a YouTube channel start a blog create amazing content you need to get yourself online and you need to network with as many people as you possibly can and that is one of the best ways that you are going to grow your audience and see success in your online business now I know this video was called 5 simple steps and I know that was a lot of information but these steps are simple it’s not easy it is a lot of work but once you know exactly what you need to do all you need to do is just do it you need to do what I call the band-aid effect sometimes you just need to hold your breath and take action as quick as possible that is the only way that you are really going
