hey guys I’m back again and today I want to talk about what does it take to start a drop shipping business in 2018 because some of you might want to know whether it’s still profitable or whatnot and what does it actually take to be successful at it right so I’m gonna help answer some of those questions hopefully answer those questions for you today so let’s talk about the initial startup capital how much money do you really need and in my opinion if you want to start drop shipping business especially on eBay and I would recommend anybody to saw an eBay first and I don’t want to dive too deep into why I want to recommend eBay first so if you want to drop ship on eBay I would recommend you know have about 200 200 to $300 on the side that’s not to say that you’ll need to use all 200 and $300 it’s not I’m trying to say what I’m trying to say is the reason why I say that is because you might get holds PayPal will hold your money as a new seller so if that’s the case you need to use your own money until PayPal releases your money which can be sped up they can release your money faster by uploading tracking number and all that good stuff I don’t talk about too much about that but yeah if you wanna start eBay 200-300 dollars should be okay to get you started and if you guys don’t have that money you know save up if you want to start any business you know you gotta have invest some sort of money and that’s probably the lowest that you need to invest for any business in this day and age here you wanna start traditional businesses like ten thousand dollars or thousands of those most people can’t afford it just like I’m gonna throw it right there you know so it’s relatively low right when I started you know I started with only a few hundred bucks as well and it worked out well for me like I had the money I also had money on holding PayPal and I don’t want to talk to date about that I’ll do a video about that later but I had up to you know two thousand dollars on hold in PayPal so that was bad but I was able to get through that way anyways but if you want to start amazon drop shipping I would say you need at least Oh thousand dollars laying around because they’re gonna hold your money for at least two weeks and ideally I would recommend you to transition from eBay dropshipping to Amazon so you would start on eBay first do good there and then move on into Amazon once you’re comfortable deeb a because amazon i would say is twice as hard in terms of what amazon expects from you as a seller right and then the next thing is time investment right this is not a get rich scheme this is a real business you’re dealing with real people real customer service returns claims and disputes being institution you’re dealing with payment processors banks so this is a real business this this is not a scam this is not trying to scam people as money you’re not doing that you’re gonna get run out of business so basically because this is a real business you need to commit the time you can’t just put ten minutes every day and expect to make ten thousand dollars in one month that’s not how it works but you can transition into that in the future but when you first start do not expect to spend ten minutes like when you start you should leave spent 3-4 hours every day to learn to research to get that consistency and results and you do that after a month you know I’m sure you’ll see results but again it takes patience it takes work ethic it takes belief and it’s pretty easy to give up like I wanted to give up and because I didn’t give up now I’m able to achieve more success and see more results because I think about and it’s kind of like a compounding effect you’re gonna fail fail fail you’re not gonna make that much results and after you fail a certain amount of time after you’ve been through the trial and error for a certain amount of time that it’s like this it’s gonna go up so it’s gonna be a compounding effect after you do the research and learn so that’s very helpful to understand once you go through all that you’re gonna start to see compounding effect and your sales going to go up you don’t know exactly what you’re doing yeah so I mean you don’t have to spend three or four hours of day like even one or two hours but don’t expect too much if you’re only gonna put that amount of time right so it’s a real business you actually have to put time in it all right so don’t expect to be easy it’s it’s not meant to be easy at the beginning but it will be easier as you go that’s a good news and you can outsource and all that good stuff so that’s the second thing so you need some sort of cap load appear in the platform some sort time investment that’s for sure work ethic as well if you’re lazy don’t even start like even you let’s say even if you pay me and your lazy I would rather not take your money to teach it like I don’t want to waste my time and you should not even waste a time if you’re gonna be lazy and doing this because a lot of people expect it to be you know easy alright third thing is verified information if you’re in the u.s. it’s a lot easier if you have a US banking social security number and tax identification or all that stuff so if you’re in the US I’m talking to people in the US bank information credit card debit card social security and you can verify your PayPal that’s gonna be easier but if you’re an international seller you’re not in the u.s. you’re in Singapore in Malaysia you’re in Thailand in Israel it may be a little more challenging to get your information verified but once it’s all verified or not good to go you know life is good PayPal not gonna you know put that much risk on your account and they’re not gonna flag you or all that other PS you know so yeah those are the three stuff that
