Early Life
Jack Owoc went to Florida Atlantic University, the same college that comedian Carrot Top attended. Strangely enough, Owoc was already born into a family of entrepreneurs, but he was not an entrepreneur till later in life.
Early in his life, Owoc started out as a high school science teacher. He taught six different science classes as well as English, and health, and also ran internal suspension for nine years. During his tenure, Owoc began to develop good eating habits along with exercise programs to get into peak shape. Owoc says that he does things differently by basing everything on science.
Discovery
With his clients, he kept details on their nutrient profiles. He noticed that in one month, a group of clients did not lose body fat despite their hard training exercises and food intake. He changed variables in his training regime and food and noticed that they needed a substitution for egg protein. In the early 90s, the only egg white protein was an egg protein supplement that was consumed twice a day. Owoc tested the egg supplement and found that it had ninety percent maltodextrin, ash, and moisture, but no protein.
Owoc was furious about this, but it got worse when his best friend, a professional basketball player got the egg supplement, supported by Owoc. The player has a serious allergy to milk protein and started to choke, almost passing away. Luckily, his wife rescued him and got him to the hospital.
