hey everyone welcome to finding work at home jobs calm today is January the 12th 2018 and congratulations on making it to yet another Friday your second in this 2018 year so today we're gonna talk about some work at home job leads and don't have quite as many today so hopefully we'll go by a little bit quicker and at the end I wanted to show you a really neat article that I found on how to become a paid freelance writer so stick around for that but okay so first on the list is a company named Sutherland and right now they are hiring work at home sales agents you would need to be a licensed insurance sales agent but if that does not fit who you are at this point in your life then you may want to look at their work at home social media moderator position and that is a customer service phone position and they are hiring right now both for both of these positions in the US alright so next Pearson is known as a higher pain company when it comes to tutoring jobs however they do require that their tutors have lots of certifications or degrees so if you um first of all if you are a native Spanish speaker you if you also speak English but you speak Spanish as well if you are fluent in both languages if you have an undergraduate undergraduate degree teaching certificate or credential and/or a graduate degree in a foreign language or language learning then you might want to take a look at this because they are looking for Spanish tutors this is also in the u.s. no word on pay but I know that they do pay on the higher end of things when it comes to work at home tutors so that's Pearson next I know that I've mentioned these before I believe earlier this week but I wanted to bring it up again because they're still hiring Intuit is looking for seasonal tax support leads so if you have a college degree great but it's not required it's just preferred you should have a basic knowledge so of tax laws and tax concepts I was talking to my husband just today and he was saying that he his good friend was raised by someone who worked for the IRS and so even though he his career is now not working for the IRS he knows everything there is to know about tax law so if that's something if you know if that fits the bill for you then you might want to take a look at something like this because it's seasonal work so it's just basically if you need like a second job or a part time job that sort of thing so that's a remote position also in the US and okay and then live world they usually hire online moderators but right now they're hiring bilingual customer service agents this is part-time work they do pay by the hour and if you notice they say here that they are currently recruiting individuals with fluency in the following languages and I'm highlighting them one of them is Spanish and then here the rest so if that's you and you have at least one to two years experience in either online moderation or customer service and you're at least 18 then go ahead and apply notice that it says college degree again or equivalent experience preferred but not required so check that out and next okay so Kelly services they've been hiring for tech support for a while and you know you know it's funny is that I applied for this job like two months ago and they got back to me and they said we really want to interview you please go ahead and pick a time that will work for you and then I go ahead on to they're supposed spreadsheet where I can pick an interview time and there are no times available and they say okay no times available please check back I've been checking back like weekly well sometimes at the beginning it was daily and I've never seen an interview time so maybe you'll be more maybe you'll be luckier than I've been with this but I have not been able to get an interview scheduled with them please tell me if you apply with them and you get an interview scheduled so I can fume in the corner but anyway here is okay and I wanted to take you back so that you can see kind of how to find them so when you get to this page at Kelly connect you're only gonna click on this black box that says search for jobs and it'll bring up all of the virtual positions that are available in the in the states so you're going to want to click view next if you don't see your state here so hopefully your state is is included in the list all right and next the American Red Cross is hiring right now and this is a position for someone with a lot of experience a lot of credentials basically you'd be working as in in data analysis and interpretation so you'll want to just go ahead and take a look but and it's open to candidates nationwide and they do prefer that you have experience working from home but it's not required so I'm here some of the qualifications you're going to want to have a bachelor's degree in business Human Resources or a related field and here the rest of the qualification there's no word on pay but it is a career position so I would assume that it would be paying on the higher and work at home jobs okay and then I keep getting emails from concentric so if you're on their email list maybe getting it too but they're still hiring they need customer product support advisors these are technical positions but I believe it's software support but they would train you so you don't need to go in knowing anything about technical support and you do need to have at least one to two years of customer service experience they do only offer full-time work Internet service minimum of 10 Mbps download so that's pretty good that's on the lower end of things I know that because yeah I just know that just never mind my internet is really bad ok and they are not hiring in these states highlighted right here so California Arkansas Vermont and Hawaii alright next this one I am super excited about this is a great job if you've been looking to get into like the medical field like medical transcription or coding this job may actually hire you and then train you on how to do all that so you don't have to come in with all that experience so check this out and this is by this is offered by Emily doll and you'd be working and networking directly with doctors pas and nurse practitioners across the u.s. get this you would get trained on charting chart prepping anatomy physiology medical terms and healthcare workflow you would learn assessments and plans diagnosing symptoms interpret labs medication use and listen to entire doctor patient discussions you would work from home you would grow with Emma doll so they would train you opportunity for education into multiple health care specialties prior to a professional school so all you have to have is a minimum of a high school degree and completion of sophomore equivalent classes post-secondary courses or associate's degree or comparable healthcare work experience so if you've worked in health care maybe you don't have your associates degree or maybe you haven't gone but you have the comparable experience and great and they would prefer that you have future plans to continue to step until the into the healthcare field and pursuit of a career because you're going to get a lot of training from them so and then the ability to work from home obviously a secure reliable internet connection at GPA 3.0 or higher eighteen years of age or older this is awesome I'm these are the qualifications that they would prefer you'd have but it's preferred not required so this is an amazing opportunity to get your foot in the door of like the medical scribe medical transcription medical coding world and you would get paid while you're getting trained so for those of you who've been looking into medical transcription please check this out or go ahead and lot of freelance writing positions available every single day I don't post them all the time but maybe I will start to if people let me know that they're interested but um I know that I've talked a little bit about getting a portfolio together etc etc and if I've been speaking Greek to you then I wanted to show you this awesome article on how to become a paid freelance writer is right written by Gena hor key who is a leader in her field she teaches people how to become freelance writer she's a great course on that and she also has a great course on on how to build a business as a virtual assistant but this article is fantastic because it gives you basically everything that you need so that you can kind of figure out whether this is something you want to do and um I'm not going to go through the entire article obviously you can read it on your own time if you're interested but I just did want to go over just a few things that are included so that you know what's included in this article she talks about deciding on your niche so choosing who you're going to service also she talks about she goes through action steps which is really nice I like that because it forces you to kind of work on when you've when you're forced to write on your aunt work on your answers you kind of like know whether or not you want to go forward with this so and then step to get freelance writing samples and I was talking about that yesterday and in my video yesterday and so I really like this because it she actually goes into depth obviously I can't go into depth in a video on how to do all this but you can read this and you can see exactly how to get writing samples because when you apply sometimes some companies will want that as well so here your options you can create a freelance writing sample from scratch or you can search for writing samples that you already have on hand and she says odds are if you enjoy writing you already have samples at your disposal so you know she gets you thinking about that start your own blog or website there are lots of ways to do that for free and so anyway and she has a free tutorial to get you started with a new website in one week guest post on someone else's site for free that's a great way to build up your portfolio you do that for free you get the credit you get the link you can add that to your portfolio um here's creating your portfolio and she tells you exactly what she would need in your portfolio so how to set that up she talks then about how to find the jobs freelance writing jobs and where to go job boards and then she talks about something that's really important in pitching because that's a really important skill when you become a virtual assistant or a freelance writer you're going to have to send emails out you're going to have to try to find work so she talks about how you do that and in fact she has a whole post about it here and then she talks a little more about pitching because it's so important step six land your your client you're gonna want to know how much you're gonna charge and then get paid you're gonna want to know how you're going to collect the money so this is a fantastic article
