I'm gonna bring you a video all about investing if you're new to investing you're kind of intimidated by it this app is specifically for you because this is something that you can do it on the side it kind of does it for you it's really easy and stay tuned because you're not gonna want to miss it and before I begin if you're new here I kind of said this in the intro but this is the guy to make love it heavily long for the rides like this video do all that stuff and let's get started alright so today I'm gonna talk about acorns and it is wwa corns calm or if you have an iOS or an Android phone you can download the app it's just the same and I'll put a link in the description so you can sign up below it is very cool and essentially what this is they call it micro investing as you can see down here there we go micro investing and so essentially what you do is you put in your demographic slide shoot like you are what you do for a living how much you make a year what you're looking for whether you want short-term or long-term investing and they will make you a portfolio like mine specifically is they break it up for every dollar I invest forty percent goes to bonds 35 percent goes to stock and 25 goes to real estate and they do all that for me they have a very specific way to increase your investing for your specific goals and so I don't have to worry about where the money goes what stocks to invest I just know that's 40% bonds 35% stock in 25% real estate and so they do all that for me it's really easy and essentially what you do is you connect a credit card and every time you buy something let's say you buy a cup of coffee and it was four dollars and seventy five cents they will round that 75 cents up to five dollars and take that 25 cents and invest into your account so it is your money that you're investing but it's money you don't really see and it just skims off the top every time you make a purchase and so it's very easy for you to invest without even realizing it and without losing a whole bunch of money so let's say you make five purchases a day and it comes out to like $2 50 cents a day that's two dollars and fifty cents that would have gone elsewhere but instead you are automatically investing into these bond account into the stock accounts and it helps you invest for future change and future future monies that you'll need and so I saw this a long time ago and I really get into it and then I saw an ad for it I'm like that's actually really cool and so I tried it and I have loved it it's been super cool because one thing about investing like I put 1% away for of my income to stocks 1% or like a certain to print percent two bonds I'm doing all this myself and it got pretty tedious to keep up with all stuff now I just do it automatically and it makes life so much easier and if you're new to investing it's easy because you don't have to know you don't have to research the stock market you don't have to know what a bonds account is I mean you could go on investing without even realizing how you're investing in stock market all you gotta know is you're doing it and so if you're new or especially if you're in college or high school or like you're really young and you don't make a lot of money this is a good way to get started for your financial future and that will bring me to my next point which is the monthly fee it's just a dollar a month and that dollar comes from what you spend and so let's say you buy coffee and 25% of that runs up to the $5 part of that will go towards a month and then once you reach the dollar it'll start investing into your account and also the reason I went down here from college students is because it is free for college students with a valid edu email address and then let's say let's say you're a senior like I am and I sign up for this with my dot edu it's valid for the next four years from the date you registered and so you don't have to be in college this for years it just has to be four years from the date you're registered so I thought that was really cool and and it's very safe it is si PC insured up to five hundred thousand dollars like any other investing so it is an actual investing platform and it's very safe very secure and so you can read here and see the copywriting for the security reasons they have 256-bit encryption that will never store on your phone or tablet Peters so you're always secure you're insured there's nothing to worry about complete peace of mind or something easy something you don't really even have to look into just buy something 25% goes toward it and it gives it up automatically so very cool very easy I wanted to show this with you guys because it does kind of fall in the category of making money online I wouldn't really call it specific like income online but investing is still very important for making money and be fine being financially stable and that's what this channel is all about so I previously talked about Robin Hood that's another stock trading website but this one's a bit different than that because it does all for you you don't specifically buy the stocks you just put the money in and it does it all for you so very cool and so that's basically how the app works and there's also another bonus I want to talk about this part is probably the big selling point for me and why I continue to use it and it's called found money and then what they do is they teamed up with all these different companies and whenever you purchase something with that company with a credit card you put in onto the account depending on what the partnership is that money will go towards your investing so let's find a good one right here let's go to more offers so there are there are tons of offers so let's say you if you ever heard of Airbnb it's basically a hotel where you stay in some Laz house and so let's say you buy something with Airbnb every time you buy something with that credit card Airbnb puts $200 into your acorns account and so that's a bonus the company gives you or also up to 1.8 percent for your guests and so that's just like all this stuff with that company if you involved with that company and that credit card money will go into your account and so a vine if you buy something with Avon using that credit card you get $10 a lot of these are percentages if you go to Bed Bath & Beyond use that credit card two percent is invested and so a lot of great opportunities like with things you do everyday like shop Bed Bath and Beyond you would do that anyways if you use the credit card apply to your acorns account you'll get 2% of that back from Bed Bath & Beyond towards your investment accountant so you're basically making money for shopping there it's really cool it's almost better than the whole taking 25% off a coffee and putting it towards that so you can actually make a lot of money with this if you strategically shop a certain places with a strategic card and so very cool this is very good for future planning let's say you have kids you want to send them to college this is a good college fund startup if you have again if you have kids and you want them to learn about investing this is a good way to teach them just open them account if you're in college and you want to start this is easy or if you just want to invest and don't really know how this is this is the way to go so again I'll put a link in the description yeah there's so many in here k 5% I mean you spend a lot of money at K and get 5% back so I'm not gonna scroll look I'm een looking look how many there are geez there are so many of them so again I'll put a link in the description for if you want to sign up for an acorns account I would totally recommend it it's no cost to you I mean besides the one dollar a month but if your college to no cost to you it's very cheap very easy just skims off the top of what you spend regularly and it's a good way to start doing this if you don't really don't know how to so I'm gonna leave it at that I think I'm kind of rambling I'm a huge advocate for this I'm a huge advocate for investing and this is one of the best platforms I found so please try it out and if you're scared I mean maybe just try a few cents but yeah you'll I will definitely be worth it through financial security and I'm going to leave it that kind of rambling at this point I
