alright what's up guys Josh Locke here from the guy to make money online bringing your daily video today I may be talking about keyword research and how to research keywords in order to see what converts better as well as how often is searched each month and before I begin if you're new here the channels called the guy to make money online so as in the name I teach you everything you need to know about how to make money online whether you want to make full time income or do someone on the side so if that relates to you please subscribe because I'd love to have you along for the ride so let's get started alright so the platform I'm using for this keyword research is Google Adwords you could also use being ads or something like that but I'm use Google Adwords specifically if you haven't heard of Google AdWords it's Google search engine ad system where you can buy ads for anything related to the Google search engine so if you don't have an account just go to Google search Google AdWords make a free account and then join me in the landing page right here the home page alright so once you're gonna go up here to this wrench icon click on it click on it and go to the far left under the planning category there's a keyword planner so click on that and will take you to this whole new interface let it load for a second here we go and so up here to the first one click on it and up here in the first box you don't really need anything else you just have to in the first box write the category of the keyword you want so let's say you have a store that sells sports gear or or a store that sells something else specifically type the subject and so LS a baseball and then get ideas down here and so it should pull this up if it pulls up a warning sign like Oh can't read data right now just erase this and rewrite it and it works just fine and then press get ideas yeah okay so it should pull up the screen where has like a bar up here and then some lists down here alright so the UI is pretty simple up here just has how many searches it has each month for this specific category so if you are gonna sell something baseball related these show how how popular it is during certain months and so if you're trying to sell it during December to February you're probably not gonna have as much success as if you're gonna do it in August September and October so I mean there's still a lot there's still 25 million in January so you're not missing out but this is just what it's showing your show and how popular it is dirt in certain months so down here it will give you the keyword baseball because that's what you searched and then it will show you how many average monthly searches there are and how much the competition is as well as how much the suggested bid is so if I was going to use a keyword baseball in one of my ads I could know that there's almost a million average monthly searches and so be easy to get clicks as well as the competition being low that's good and then if I want to rank on the first page I said I should be it's 39 cents which is pretty good pretty good so if you have a baseball store or if you don't have a baseball store this might be something you want to look into so the competition it'll leave it'll either say low medium or high high means there's a whole bunch of people using that keyword for their ads you want to stick for low to medium because that means there's less competition and you can probably get the bids for cheaper than this so are so there's really two things need to look for you need to look for high search volume oh sorry my my computer just shut down so I don't remember my last recording shut off and so I'm just gonna pick up where I think it left off if I'm repeating I apologize shouldn't be too long so so yeah basically you just want a high monthly search volume with a low competition is if it was a high competition you're probably have to pay more and you're not gonna get as much exposure exposure because so many people are trying to get it so you really want to find keywords that are low with monthly searches that are high so once you kind of get a general idea if your niche go up here and do specific ones like you for selling gear you want to do keywords like baseball gear for sale and you want to do like really specific woman's that people who want to buy gear will search for and so for this specific term it looks like you want to sell between march/april and makes that's the peak month and the competition is actually pretty high and so selling baseball gear might not be a good niche to go into this is something you can tell from that like if you're doing this before you start the niche and you realize there's a lot of competition for baseball stores you might want to find a different niche but if you're already in there and you're kind of stuck in it just keep searching really hard for keywords that work well so baseball shop that's a l'eau competition but it's also a low monthly search and so you might not get many clicks but there's less competition so yeah just looking here there's some low ones every now and then but yeah it looks like the Bisbal niche is actually pretty saturated as opposed to shops and so I don't know if I would get into this one unless you want to pay about $1 per bid to get on the top rank so with the high competition you're gonna pay a bit more per bid so that's something to consider but yeah basically what this tool is it's really cool just search your keyword search something general that you think would work for you and then it'll give you the exact one and then down here it'll give you keywords by relevance and so this is good ways to find really low competition high search volume keywords for your stuff and so scroll through here right write down some ones you find and then you can use them and hopefully have some more success than if you just went in there blind because if you won their blind with no research you would probably use baseball equipment baseball bat baseball gear and not realize that competition is so high and so you might bid like 10 cents then can you be okay when the suggested bid is $1.00 right there so keyword research is very important to help you succeed when doing this kind of stuff because you have to know what your competition is doing have to know what the searches are all that kind of stuff and this tells you all that so all right so I'm really with that I'm kind of sick and it's hard for me to talk and so I'm sorry if House really monotonous is all video but I
