alright what's up guys Josh Luck here from the guy to make money online bringing you daily video notes today I'm gonna talk about one of my favorite affiliate programs and that is the Shopify program I'm gonna go through talk about what it is how it works then pros and cons of it so stay tuned because you're not gonna want to miss it but before I begin if you're new here this is called together make money online and as in the name I teach you everything you need to know about how to make money online whether you wanna make a full time income or just some money on the side so if that relates to you please subscribe cuz I'd love to have you along for the ride so let's get started alright so if you all aren't a part of the Shopify affiliate program I would jump on right now because Shopify is one of the fastest growing e-commerce platforms out there and it's only gonna get bigger so so if you haven't signed up and you want to go just go to Google and search Shopify partners and you can pull up the landing page where you can sign up and once you sign up it'll take you to this used user interface and so this is a very unique program I like it a lot because one the payouts are good and it's got a lot of different options and benefits so if you're a programmer or if you're developer this is especially good for you because in the Shopify partner all encompassing user interface there's the affiliate program there's the developing program and there's the apps program so you can do all that stuff right in one hub so let's get started talking about the user user interface and what options you have with this program so with this up here is called developmental stores and this if you're creating a theme or an app you can actually create a mock-up store with all the features it just wouldn't be live in order to test out your theme or app so that's really cool or if you do educational videos like I do I can make a educational store so I can go through tutorials and show people how to use it so that's especially good for me since I admin a YouTube channel I use that a lot and so you can go to manage doors if you manage a store that's not right that's my referrals if you go to manage doors I don't do this but if you have a client that you manage their store for and they pay you for that this is here as well you can go to your clients store and do all the features do all the setup and creating it that way it's still their store but you can manage it and get paid for it so I believe the payment is through your client like the pays you not Shopify but that's in here as well and down to the affiliate program which I'm sure is what all you are here for I really like this program you have to stick with it because there's a lot of trial and trial and error excuse me what I do for my advertising I just do Google ads and the conversion rates are pretty high for getting people to sign up but where the problem lies is getting people to stick with it so as you can see I haven't ran a camp run a campaign in a while because I'm Missi with this YouTube channel but I need to get back to it's really successful so as you can see I have about 15 or 10 to 15 people who signed up through this link via my Google ad campaigns I just did some small campaigns and as you can see the majority of them are frozen or canceled which means frozen means they did the 14-day free trial and they either forgot about it or they didn't want to continue and they just let it go without supplying payment so they're still there but they're inactive and then canceled means they just cancelled it so the way payment works is when someone signs up through your link you'll get they'll get a 14-day free trial and then once the 14-day free trial ends they'll start their first month and then you will get the first two months payment in full and so let's say they sign up for the basic Shopify plan as for if might have you'll get $29 the first month because that's how much it cost and then $29 the second month as long as they stay on so for one person one conversion is about $58 which is incredible that's a huge conversion so based on my findings and my experience with this it seems like a lot of people either forget about it or cancel it but once they convert over to a basic Shopify plan or if you're lucky a Shopify or advanced Shopify they usually stick it out so once you make that first payment they usually commit to a second and so that's good so usually it's either All or Nothing you either get $58 or nothing so it's a huge conversion and with four people you're able to make like one hundred and sixteen dollars I think per and so for two months that's like 232 dollars for four conversions which is incredible so as long as you stick with it keep up your campaigns like I have not I need to I need to keep them up better you should be able to have a steady stream of income and it's nice because instead of just getting it one time you get it over a span of two months so you might forget about it and then two months later you see a direct deposit of $100 in your PayPal and you're like oh yeah that's awesome so I really like this it's a cool payout system just to recap it's the 14-day free trial and then once they do the first month you get the full payment and then if it continued to a second month you get this full payment again and then after that you don't get anything but so basic Shopify is $29 per month so that's $58 for the whole thing Shopify $79 and so if you can get someone to sign up for a regular Shopify about $140 per person and then the Shopify is 299 if you were fortunate enough to get someone to convert to an advanced Shopify plan that'd be about $600 per person but super rare mainly they should do basic Shopify so very cool and then up here's your referral link and uh so yeah very cool very high conversions and then you can see your payouts here and your payout history and then down here's apps again if you're a programmer you can make an app or a theme and then what you'll do I haven't done this personally and so I'm not gonna guarantee you that this facts are right but I think you get either 40 or 60 percent of each conversion so absent themes are for sure I know this for sure they are residual like if a year down the road so advise it you'll still get income from it so as opposed to the referral plan where you just get two months so if you are a programmer and you know how to make apps or you know how to make themes that's awesome this is a great opportunity to get into it's a free to sign up and they have all the tools you need so very cool very helpful you can make a lot of money with this if you know how to market your theme or program so a very good source of income but that's about it that's how it works what all is involved with it again the pros it's huge payouts and you get two months worth of their program some cons are people usually freeze it or cancel it before it get it gets to that point so the conversion rates are lower after you sign up but the conversion rates are high getting people to sign up but getting people to continue is low so it it evens out it's about the typical affiliate program maybe a little better I would say about well let's say four people out of fifth that's about 25 to 30% continue on which is actually really good now that I say it out loud that's pretty good so getting people it's hard so that's a con another Pro is if you're a developer you can make apps you can make themes and you can do the affiliate program so great program the payouts I believe I use PayPal so I no guarantee they use PayPal but don't quote me on this I think they do wire transfers or yeah wire transfer or so I'm not gonna say anything about that cuz I'm not sure I've seized PayPal which is super easy for me so very cool this this has grown to be one of my favorite Shopify programs or not Shopify affiliate programs just because it's so unique and there's so many things to it my favorites still gave me market health forever because it's just too great but if y'all want to try Shopify partners is a great thing to try out just get your link out there some legality terms do not do a Google ad with just that link you have to have a landing page or a buffer page it's against the Shopify Terms & Conditions but ironically having a landing page is against Google AdWords Terms & Conditions so take that with what you will I'm not gonna tell you to do one thing as the other because I don't want to get in trouble with either company but I'm just saying the laws or the rules the terms and conditions our Shopify you can't put the direct link and then Google AdWords you can't have a landing page so your choice which one you want to go with I'm not gonna recommend either one because I don't want to be held accountable so yeah that's about it this videos actually getting pretty long so I'm going to cut it short if you're still watching you're
