hey guys know what a house got a question from Ken Ellis Neil I was reviewing reviewing your book and watching a few videos here’s my question you actually a company video is that one of you babe businesses it drops your business however when I was reading about your book well the chat rules is titled why drop shipping does not work someone will confuse if you could shed some light on that that will be great Cheers yeah sure great question Ken now just before you know I answer your question let me quickly explain exactly what drop shipping is in case of anybody watching this video it’s not 100% sure of what the term drop shipping means drop shipping is when you listen item on a marketplace like eBay but you do not have the item in in your possession we drop shipping you do not purge the items from your suppliers until you sold it and you’ve been paid the big advantage here of course is you’re always casual it positive as your cell Adams first and get paid first before you purchase the items there’s also many other advantages to drop shipping including now you don’t ever see or touch the product as your supply ships I don’t direct you your customer and because of this you don’t need to get involved a kg warehousing driver the post office etc at first glance drop shipping seems to be the perfect business catch not required as its cashflow positive and appears to be the perfect home business that’s all online and very little very little cash so as you are scan why did I dislike it and why have I changed my tune now now the big reason and sorry now I kind of changed my tune a little while back a big reason yeah I used to be a gang stop shipping is it was too easy to over sell an item now that I mean let’s say your dropship suppliers say Kmart and let’s say a sleeping bag on came on eBay what can happen is the sleeping bag sells you get paid then you’re not going to came out in to find out they sold out oh my god this needs to be the big problem we drop shipping selling items which suppliers no longer have available however thankfully technology has evolved and now one of the most exciting things for dropship sellers over the last couple years many online companies like came up now sit on they’ve got what we call dynamic websites and these dynamic websites they continue just to show whether an item is in stock or not this is the big game changer the next big game-changer is you can use software to automatically continually check if your supply you know like Kmart have stock if an item runs out or it’s out of stock the software automatically change your inventory available in eBay to zero so nobody can buy it this is not in your listing as you have the app as long as you have the eBay out of stock function turned on it simply makes the item with zero available I’ll put up a link on the screen showing a video I did showing how to enable the other stock function with an eBay now using software as soon as the item comes back into stock the soft will automatically change available inventory from zero to available until now be in stock the big advantage here is often you can be one of the very first dropship sellers to have the item back at valve on eBay before you compare this even nas supply has the item back in stock this can dramatically boost the impression of sale ratio I’ve listed on eBay this is all automatic by the way seven days a week 365 days a year you know this technology many online supplies having done it websites and automatic sublime venture checking software it simply wasn’t available just a few short years ago the software we use by the way is sketchy manage upper holding on the screen it cost some around 30 bucks per month and yeah but that’s it for this week please leave a comment for me below until next week this more sell more this is Neil Waterhouse
