hey everyone welcome to finding work at home jobs on YouTube I'm super excited to be back and to share some work at home job leads with you all today I'm going to talk actually about how you can get paid to work as an ESL tutor from home there is a company that is apparently has two names 51 talk and H AAW Ohio and it's a well-known language education school and they describe themselves they build themselves as one of the best and largest professional online English schools in China so apparently they employ more than 12,000 people worldwide and most of their teachers are native English speakers from other countries they use their computers and they just have remote tutoring sessions available for their students who want to learn English so online in English education is a field that is growing a lot right now so 2019 won't be any different in fact it will probably get better so if you are looking to get into that field right now is one of the best times to do so so let's talk a little bit about them I'm gonna take you over to their website and again it's hollow or 51 talk and I don't really know why they go by two different names but and so it looks like and as far as what I've found in researching this website it looks like the company does have certain expectations for how they want the lessons to be organized you will be expected to come up with a lesson plan for the day and then you'll need to give each student appropriate feedback after the lesson so that's what they kind of like to do as far as pay and unfortunately they did not mention salary on this site at all however if you go to glassdoor.com and review their website some of the former employees or even current employees may put their salary on there and it looks like their tutors make about 10 to $17 per hour depending so and I don't know what that's based on or how you can get the higher rate unfortunately and now it looks like as far as what is required in terms of hours it sounds like the tutors have to put in about a minimum of 5 hours per week and you would need to make sure that you can be available during peak times and those peak times are 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on weekends and I'm assuming that is eastern time and then as far as requirements they they do require that you have a bachelor's degree and experience teaching kids so this might be something that if you are a current teacher and you just want to make some extra money maybe on the weekends or during summer break or winter break this might be something that you can kind of do on the side just to make a little bit of extra money so if you are interested in applying just go ahead and go to this website I will put this link at the very bottom of this video and you can apply they do offer training so they they don't destroy you out there they do let you know what the teaching interface looks like and what their expectations are and then as far as like reviews on Glassdoor I would take a look and see if it's something that kind of jives with you you can look at the reviews and kind of get a good idea of what people are saying about it so far it looks like they have a good reputation on Glassdoor so overall just looking at it it looks like it's a pretty good job for someone who does have a bachelor's degree in teaching experience it's a great way to maybe make some extra money on the side or if you're a work at home mom who was a former teacher or maybe you're retired this might be a great way to bring in some extra income so hope that helps again and that is a che wo 51 talk comm and I will put the link at the very bottom of my youtube channel finding work at home jobs comm thanks guys look for more videos coming today thank you
