hey guys it’s Olivia I’m so happy you back here today I’m like giddy getting ready to talk about it but basically people been asking me how I plan and schedule for my small business and it’s a complicated question and I think that over the years I’ve been writing my small business for seven years and I’ve always been addicted to pay for goods and planners things like that even when I was in college all the way down to junior high I remember in middle school we got free planners just kind of as part of like teaching us how to schedule our lives and it was the happiest day of my of my teen years that I got this like really dorky like I don’t even know plan our venue is I’ve always been a paper junky office supply junkie my mom used to not like I remember going into CVS as a kid my mom used to be like you can’t we can get any like office supplies stuff so basically this is my kind of quick overview I can do so many videos on this but let me know in the comments below if you are Condren planner for years and years I don’t know I think this is the holy grail of planners I like I said I resisted it for ages and I really now that I started using it I don’t think I can go back so basically I don’t want to show you guys too much because I do do pretty in-depth planning and it’s all kind of stuff that I can’t really you know I’m working on projects for my business that I can’t really show but I use stickers and I have the maze open a page that I haven’t written anything on yet but basically I use the vertical like the going down days which I think it’s such a great way to plan I like how it breaks into three chunks so I can put kind of like my main message specific things more in detail things about project I’m working on and then my personal life stuff kind of categorized I also love I got the you know it’s starting in July 2016 and it goes all the way to December 2017 so this bad boy will be kind of like my this is just I’ve been using it since July and I use it every day and I love it I kind of use it as a way to journal as well which i think is so helpful for when you have a small business or just life in general I think it’s great to kind of use I use this little bottom section of the day leave glance this guy right here so these little is a good focus this little section right down there that’s kind of a way to reflect on the day and is super handy for when things are kind of stressful or chaotic it’s great to just kind of be able to look back at times and just kind of be able to be have comfort of knowing that yeah in um September 13 week is a great way to kind of just reassure yourself of trends that are happening just kind of sale patterns and all of that fun stuff so yeah my Erin Condren planner could not live without this bad boy so highly recommend that if you don’t have one already I know a lot of people have them the covers come off and I have an actual backup cover that I’m saving for spring I think is really fun and floral I think by the time spring rolls around I’ll be ready for a new cover I like that you can personalize it and it’s really fun I have a bunch of inserts like I didn’t use these for the first few months so I just started using them they’re like this postage notes you can rip off but these are really great for like when you’re planning things in depth you can tear one off and kind of make it to-do list and move it around different parts of your work space I have this like trouble insert where you can like do your packing lists I haven’t used that one as much I thought I feel like their dry erase markers bleed everywhere that I view sharpies and then use like nail polish remover to take it off but I don’t know but yeah I love my Erin Condren planner I can let’s see if I can show you I do use stickers within it again like yeah so it’s great I love it it serves as like a journal and also a planning method for me I do use stickers and I’ve showed this in a video before I’ll link in the card this is like my sticker book and basically how everything organized and here I have a whole video about how I organize my stickers I can link in the description box in the cards but I love using stickers within my Erin Condren planner it’s a great way to kind of visually just like express my feelings and it’s a good like I used to watch playing videos back in the day and I would kind of be like why do people spend so much time the stickers and all that jobs but it really is like a great way to like reflect and do stress and also make your life a little bit more fun and colorful so these stickers are mostly from Yozo craft which is a great and it ships from China it’s kind of like a cheap Chinese stickers but they’re all in like super cute I’ll link that below as well and then this guy which I know is super popular is the what’s it called the happy life planner and these you can see I’ve used so many of them are aid to go buy another pack but these I got with a 50% off and that Ghost coupon and I use these all the time but basically they had like motivational phrases and then the things I love the most about this is that they have like the little to-do list two stickers and then all of these little guys but I love this I think this is a really great product and I highly recommend you get one if you don’t already it’s a great value for what house so she can get the 50% off coupon and then these guys that I’ve showed in videos before – this is I think I got two of these pounds from Erin Condren and this is almost gone is there just like notepads but I love having this on my desk to kind of jot down notes and keep things organized and the cool thing about this that can make to do and then I’ll stick them back in the back mayor and Condren planner there’s you know a little pocket and I’ll put these guys in it this is just kind of a reminder of what bills I need to pay but I love that kind of as a system of organizing that stuff yeah I use these all the time and then another thing that I use is this little spiral erin condren notebook I mean there’s nothing really to write home about about this notebook but is cool they have like the to-do lists built in and the color tabs this is like my youtube planning journal I when I’m doing like a sit-down in-depth video I use this to take notes and just kind of keep all of my ideas organized and you can see there’s gold foiling on there too the other thing that I’m missing from here hold on one second let me go grab it is this guy which is I’ve showed this again in other videos but this is my production binder and I have gone in and out of ways of using this and I swear if you are juggling wholesale production employees just life bills and everything I think this is such a great asset to have I use this I’m just gonna show this kind of here I use this to keep lists of things that I’m doing for people and my contract employees with things they have taken home with them so I keep it straight I keep my line sheets in here so if wholesalers are ordering things I can keep things kind of all in place I keep open bills I need to deal with I keep open hole so invoices um yeah and I use things like clear sheet protectors and then pocket pocket tabs to also keep that straight for this it’s a huge huge thing for me so these tools all keep me semi-organized I also use my iCal on my phone I use that mostly to public appointments and phone calls and conference calls that I need like reminders about I am super forgetful I had a phone conversation yesterday with people and I had it written down in my Erin Condren planner but I didn’t I looked at my Erin Condren planner in the morning and I totally forgot about this call and then a half hour before the call my phone alerted me gave me a reminder so that saved my butt so anything that like has to be like me accountable for things I have to use my Aikau with the alert I normally do two alerts I do a day before alert and I do like a half hour fifteen minute alert depending on if I need to travel or sit down or do pre-planning for it so it’s kind of my balance of planning I think I’m going to sit down and film another like anyways that was kind of my rambling kind of all over the place tools for keeping organized as a small business owner and just kind of a person in general it’s not really I’m exclusive to just being a small business owner I think that having a binder like this would be super helpful even if you just had to like keep like your personal documents and life things organized I think it’s really nice to have something like this just to stuff all that junk mail bills paperwork before you file it officially this is kind of a nice way to catch it all and not have piles accumulating within your house which now that I’m saying it I think I’m going to start another binder for my personal life stuff as well so I hope you guys are doing well and I’ll talk to you guys later bye
