hey guys what’s going on I’m Joshua elder here welcome back to the channel in this video I’m gonna show you how to build a sustainable and profitable affiliate marketing business and how to grow up from complete scratch nothing I’m pretty much gonna reveal to you what I would do if I have you know no list if I have no knowledge of online marketing what I would do to go from zero to my first 10,000 dollars in a month so this is gonna be a fun video please ignore the lack of high-quality audio here I’m still working on getting everything set up in the office actually so hopefully that basis teaching you how to build a life and business full of freedom passion and fulfillment so this is sort of what I would do you know if I was just getting started out obviously you know I would pick a market I would pick something that I’m you know truly passionate about I would pick a niche I would pick something that you know I was excited to you know deliver on everyday give people value help them solve their problems right these are the fundamentals that we need to build a business just like we need a foundation we need a strong foundation to build a house we need these things to build our business so once I establish that it’s now really getting getting into the marketing how would I create my first successful campaign and when I got started I had no money I had a will I had a desire to succeed and so that’s why I decided to get on YouTube that’s why I decided to use nothing but the web camera on my laptop computer that this video camera is sitting on and then eventually I upgraded to a good old iPhone here but I was using the web camera I was using a crappy quality web cameras actually my first MacBook that I ever bought and you know the video quality was just grainy it was terrible I didn’t know how to edit so I didn’t edit stumble over my word you know half the time I didn’t know what I was saying but I knew the key to building a business was to take action so if I do nothing and I were in your shoes the number one thing is to focus on taking action even though it might be in imperfect action and within that action take daily action put out content every single day again solving specific problems in your market what we want to do is take our target customer from where they’re at to where they want to be for example you know if we’re in the dating niche and we teach guys how to get the girls or dreams maybe we start off by teaching them how to just approach right maybe that’s a piece of content that we have just how to approach how to approach a girl without being awkward and weird and the next step would be obviously is what to say to that specific girl how to create a casual conversation how to make her comfortable with you and then eventually how to ask for the number and then go from asking for the number to asking for the date and these are separate problems that I just explained that we could solve to help our client get from unhappiness to happiness over here so that’s just four subjects I believe within the relationships market and how to get women right your markets gonna be different so I would take some time in writing down what are the struggles what are the biggest struggles that are keeping people from you know getting them from point A to point B whatever my product my service is and write those down and then start creating content whether it’s on YouTube or Facebook or on Instagram you want it to be highly leveraged content because you might place a post on Facebook and on your profile and that’ll be seen for a little while maybe there’s your friends on there that might get some value from it but it’s not your exact target audience and there’s really not a lot of leverage there eventually that post is going to get lost the newsfeed and you know there’s just people aren’t going to see it anymore so what you want to do is use highly leveraged platforms like YouTube where you can document everything and people can go to your channel and they can see the documentation of all the content within your channel and so they can see all these problems that you’re solving for them and they’re gonna go through your videos they’re gonna go through your content they’re gonna be like man this guy is an expert he knows what the heck he’s talking about I want to learn more because what happens is when you help somebody solve one specific problem what happens is is it leaves them wanting more they might have that problem solved they finally approach the girl they overcome that fear and then they ask what’s the next step that’s the key when they ask what’s the next step you’ve got it you’ve got it as a follower you’ve got them as a fan so what you really want to be doing here is is you don’t need to be you know you don’t have to need to have the fancy houses the fancy cars you just need to show people that you can solve their problem so you don’t have to talk about you what you do is you talk about them and how you can help them one of the ways that we can obviously sell is through having us talk about ourselves and our credentials people don’t really care about that having other people talk about us which people also don’t really care about that but then demonstrating that we can actually help people that’s the best way right so I would demonstrate on a daily basis through content on a specific platform and I would never stop creating content I would accept as an affiliate marketer as an online marker you’re going to be creating content for the rest of your life why because it’s your duty you know and there’s gonna be times where you know you go on vacations and and life happens and you know there are certain events where you won’t be able to create content but for the most part I would say 80% the time you should be creating content the other 20% of the time should spend on going to marketing events studying new material you know growing yourself you know and taking care of the things that you’d be taking care of to get you from you know point A to point B so let me get into the details and how I would watch this whole thing what we want to be doing is we want to be building off of our small successes whether we’re documenting the the growth of our own business right what I would do is for example let’s say that I’m in the affiliate marketing niche and I’m going to make money online you know niche what I would do is I would whether it was my first two leads five these 10 leads in a day whether I set up my first landing page I would go to YouTube and I would document that because getting people to buy from you is not so much about the numbers it’s more about the transference of energy it’s more about the excitement and what it is that you’re doing if you’re really excited to show people that you just built your first landing page you have zero experience online and you work making a construction your whole life and you have that excitement of that energy in your video people are gonna want to follow you because of that and then what you want to do is use that to get your first couple leads so you would show people exactly how you construct a landing page to get you know five leads a day if that’s what you got maybe that’s your first success and you got your first five leads a day based off of that capture page show people how to recreate that capture page so we can get their first five leads a day and then maybe you get you know your first 10 leads and your first sale and then you would show people how to do that what most people are doing is they’re comparing themselves everybody else and thinking you know I got 50 leads but I got no sells this thing doesn’t work it’s broken well you think that that’s your gonna bring more of that into your life but if you’re excited you’re like man I got my first 50 leads I’m gonna go out there and share it with the world and you show people on camera how excited you are because that is a big deal don’t discount the small wins and once I realize that every video that I made whether it was making my first thousand dollar day or getting my first five leads I made it seem like it was the greatest milestone I’ve ever achieved because it’s worth something so once I started doing that and really building off of my small successes every single day by putting up daily content documenting my journey and helping people solve their problems in my specific niche everything changed everything transformed because now I have an audience and now I’ve made money by you know the learning process sort of the earn while you learn philosophy that’s kind of what I would implement if I were you and now we’re getting started is hey I just created a capture page now let’s go to my youtube channel and show people how to create a capture page hey I just lost two pounds of fat so I’m gonna go to my YouTube channel man teach people how I got lost two pounds of fat you know I just got my first real estate deal I’m gonna go to my YouTube channel and teach people how I got my first real estate deal maybe it’s not even that big maybe it’s just you’re creating your first connection and how you did that but you guys need to be taking these milestones big or small and documenting them and getting excited about them and knowing that they’re worth something that’s half of the battle here that’s the difference between it taking three to five years for you to succeed in a few months because there’s things that are happening in your life every single day that you’re discounting because I know most of you guys are trying to build a business you’re trying to build a following you’re trying to build something but what’s missing is that vibrancy that excitement you know that ability to just go out there and chill people your accomplishments big or small so once I I did that what I would do is I would start you know I’m now I’ve built an audience now I’m putting out daily content now I can monetize either from my own products or from affiliate products so I can go over to websites like jvzoo Clickbank I could promote Amazon products you know as I’m building my business if I’m talking about the camera that I’m you know using the audio stuff that I’ve got the computer that I have the software that I’m using you know you can do the same thing in in the fitness industry the barbell that you’re using the weight machine that you’re using the dip belt that you’re using and I’m just like you know speaking off the cuff here but you can use you know the everyday tools that you’re using in your business and you could sell those via Amazon and earn a commission and then build off with that that’s what you do just because it’s a five dollar Commission you know doesn’t mean that you’re only gonna make fifty bucks a month right you have multiple products within your YouTube channel within your business from the physical products affiliate products and you could eventually graduate to creating your own you know dumbbells for example your own weighted you know dip belt your own supplements if you’re in the fitness niche your own products if you were an affiliate marketer write your own traffic generation strategies and techniques and courses on that right there’s so many things that you can do but you want to start out small and build off of those small successes and that is the key that is the idea here and so now you’ve got multiple ways that you’re making income you’ve got your your front-end I even talked about your ad revenue that you’re making on off of your YouTube channel now that you’ve built an audience you’re doing YouTube but you can apply this to any platform Facebook you just have to know how to create content that’s native to that platform you have to understand the behavior on that platform people come to YouTube to spend 20 30 40 50 minutes to an hour on this platform on Facebook you know they’re scrolling they’ve got a TD so maybe you keep your videos three to four minutes unless they’re really really engaging on Instagram obviously the behavior is going to be different you want high-quality photos that represent your brand and your business so being able to reverse engineer the algorithm of these successful platforms and specific people on these successful platforms you really want to ask yourself questions like how does that person have a bunch of followers how does that person have a bunch of subscribers how did this video get so many views and dive deep into that you know I had somebody reach out to me today he’s got multiple lists in like four different niches and I’m like dude if you just don’t deep into one niche you’d make 10 times the amount that you’re making with three to four different niches so it’s really the overwhelm and the lack of direction and people wanting to take off the world in one day you know that’s causing people really to fail in this industry but if you follow exactly what I laid out to you in this video to the tee and I’ve got plenty of videos that go into detail on this channel you know you can check out I’ll leave those in the fan page I’ll see all the Instagram posts and I’ll see the proof and I know that they’re going to be a success if you just follow this simple formula even if you have zero technical skills even if you you know don’t know how to create landing pages or capture pages because it really is about building the audience first and solving those problems recognizing the problems in your marketplace solving those problems and then focus on monetizing later and it’s cool because you can solve those problems by documenting your journey and solving your own problems within that niche on your your channel so
