[Music] what is up everybody Matt with Mike designs here welcome to another video log I’ve run your screen printing business sick Rowell show you what we got going on hey welcome back guys this little video log I’m trying out a new camera it’s a camera that was loaned to us so let me guys know what you think in the comments let me know below if you kind of liked the style of this compared to the iPhone that I’ve been using I’ll keep on using this one I mean ultimately it’s up to me but wonder here what you guys take as well so ups just dropped off some more orders for us to go over orders that need to be taken care of and these are the orders we have finished it’s a good problem to have good problem to have but the hot – do you like to do so just some little updates we got a new plotter this week because our old GCC quit on us which is really my fault like drop the damn things I’ve been moving it back and forward from the shop into the office having to drop it up like now it’s gonna be okay now thing completely died so we got this new graphtec which is pretty badass but they’re pretty expensive one of the reasons we had to get that new plotters because we have this job right here that was due the day that we got the plotter and it was learning curve but really happy that we did get it even though it was expensive one of the things I’ve been doing as of here recent a little more often than I have in the past because I actually been putting a lot of time and effort into these videos these tutorials video logs so I kind of neglected my music logo you can see some my amplifiers and whatnot behind me it’s been really fun having friends over jamming out playing some gigs we were playing last night I’ll see if I can’t get some video posted up [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] just little clips that show you guys what we’ve been doing it’s been a lot of fun and it’s something I’m kind of really miss and so I’m gonna try and do that more often but also bring you guys some more video tutorials and video blocks as often as I can I mean these things take a lot of time and it also kind of slows down the day just getting stuff done also we got some one-stroke eat in I went ahead and ordered a gallon because I just really liked how creamy it was from that that little sample from the the video that you guys saw they also threw in a little sample ink because we’re about to run off some dry fit shirts today and because we are running off some dry fit shirts I got to replace this pallet tape if your pallet tape has a bunch of lint on it it’s for sure going to show up in your dry fit prints you want it nice and smooth so we have our screens all ready to go yesterday I managed to wash out 20 screens fill this bad boy up it’s getting hot already and it’s been raining here recently so it’s nice and humid here as of lately I’ve been having to put our emulsion in the bathroom because it’s getting pretty hot out here and I don’t want that stuff going bad right next to the TV but before we start working on these shirts we get in the office and do a little bit of design work and plot some vinyl out because we have an order that it’s due tomorrow I still need to get after so let’s get to it so I’m going to work on some artwork sham the shop gnome is out of commission today because she here I heard last night at a gig were playing her knee and ankles hurtings it’s going to take a light today I think you are you sit in your chair today and still stack some t-shirts [Music] [Music] this one’s so much quieter [Music] okay well Shannon is weeding this vinyl out I’m going to go ahead and start working on the pallet it slow split and dive into that this stuff just does not come up easy we’re good three or four months okay we got our palette paper ball down now it is time to just draw some center lines on the center of the paddle that’s just kind of the way that I like to Center my jobs up on the palate okay we got our center lines drawn on our palates we’re good to go there we got Miss Angela’s t-shirts ready to go this one was a little bit of a pain too but the weed because it has some very high detail on the back on this guide and show you guys we’re good to go on that so the next thing I need to do is I need to put a note on the front door that states we’re basically leaving for I had a good few hours because today is our daughter’s last day at school biggis father thank you for calling Mikie designs this is Matt what’s your favorite color okay that was just a telemarketer I’m just kind of messing with him a little bit where was I at oh yeah so today is our oldest daughter’s last day of school for her first grade we have to go pick her up we put a note on the door letting people know that both Shannon and myself will be out of the office picking her up and we’re gonna take her to lunch pretty exciting last day school so we’re gonna bring her back to the shop this this could get interesting okay we are on our way out the door go pick up the kid oh let’s do it okay so waiting in line to pick you up from school was absolutely amazingly horrid how do you feel about it being your last day of school alright what do you want to eat for lunch of course you like you’re always hungry you made three hot dogs and a hamburgers for your sister’s birthday party okay let’s go get something to eat when we eat in Madison McDonald’s okay we’ll go to McDonald’s are back from taking Madison up the phone has been ringing and we missed a couple of phone calls which we’re returning emails for quotes still trying to get around to setting the press up I’m gonna start doing that now I have to make a phone call for client to come pick pick up this shirt here it’s Friday and it’s busy busy busy busy what let’s go ahead and fire up the conveyor dryer and the flash and get this going challenge so we can kind of wrap this week up and let’s take Monday off hopefully hopefully we’re gonna take Monday off you might have some stuff to catch up on this weekend something I forgot to mention is I’m preparing a screen for somebody so we sold them the screen and I’m about to expose that they’re gonna come pick that up here in a moment so that’s what I’ve got going on over there so got to do that too and I just turned all my equipment on but yeah hey whatever if it’s not one thing it’s another way my father always tells me she is gonna be mad you’re getting into her color pencils I’m gonna go tell her I’m gonna rat you out right now good I’m glad you asked
