hey everyone welcome to finding work at home jobs calm today is December 12 2017 and instead of making a daily job leads video today I am putting together a video for you today on the best side hustles for 2018 this is the email or the page that I've been working on I don't know if you've been following for the last couple days but I've been working on this page for almost four days straight and it still didn't come out great because I messed up the title of the email anyway I did my best and so since it's now three o'clock central I am NOT gonna put together a job leads page for today but I will put one up for tomorrow so stay tuned and I'll also put a video together for tomorrow's job leads I'll probably put double the job leads since I didn't put any up today but today I did want to talk about side hustles because I love side hustles I love them I am always looking for the perfect side business side job side hustle that I can do and I have a few of them I've pared down to just like two now because there's just way too much going on in my life and I really should not have to I probably shouldn't even have a side hustle I probably should just work full-time okay but that's another story but anyway I do love them I think that they do keep life exciting I think that you get to learn new skills you get to meet lots of new people whether it's offline or online and you can make some extra money whether it's a little or a lot can really be up to you and what you want to do and how hard you want to work and and what your goals are but I do think that with side hustles it's got to be something that you're gonna enjoy working on because if you come home from a long day of work or it's it's the weekend and you want to spend time with your family it's gonna be tough to kind of pull yourself away from Netflix or pull yourself away from going to movies with your family unless it's that you really enjoy doing so I do think that if you're gonna find a hot side hustle that it really should be something that either doesn't take too much time or that you have a passion for doing and I really think everyone should consider having a side hustle because it can it can be a great tax write-off believe it or not come tax time and I am definitely not any kind of a tax professional so don't take my word for it talk to a tax professional and but there are many that will tell you that they think that everyone should have a side business because there are a lot of great tax write-off opportunities that you can take advantage of for one there's travel and I know that there are a lot of vloggers and I haven't really looked into this too much so again don't take my word for it talk to a tax professional but there are a lot of travel blogs that a lot of their travel expenses are able to be written off because they're writing about it on their blog I mean this is you know considered research right if you go out and you're gonna research a city and places to go and places to eat and places to stay and so I believe that a lot of that could can be written off but I know that there are a lot of rules about it so that's why I say talk to a tax professional but also um I don't know if you know that I don't know if you know this you probably do but even if you have lunch with someone and you talk with them about starting like a business or starting to work for you and your business or something like that that that lunch can be written off too if if you're having lunch with them for the purposes of trying to get them enrolled in your business and really it's just about having a conversation with them about your business so anyway it's just things like that and then of course mileage can be written off if you're driving somewhere and it has to do with you know maybe going to the post office or meeting someone for a business lunch or picking up supplies or something like that and if it has to do with your business of course you can write that off and last I checked it was fifty fifty-five cents per mile for mileage which is really good and then of course you can write off work space in your home so yeah oh and also hiring your kids to help you which is a great way to to pay your kids and maybe set aside money for college and it would be a tax write-off I mean Wow so anyway I did want to go through some of the side hustles that I put together on this page some of them are a little more complicated so I think I'm only going to hit two today and I'm gonna do some more tomorrow and the day after so tomorrow I will probably have two videos out one for the job leads and then one for the follow up to the side hustles in this just because there's a lot of information and I don't think I could hit it all in one video so I'm gonna start really small the first side hustle is through Ebates I know that a lot of you have heard about Ebates I don't know if a lot of you know how awesome Ebates is I mean eating's basically as a cash back program and you don't have to pay anything to enroll with them it's completely free but they offer a way for anyone to get cash back for the online shopping they already do so especially right now with the holidays this is a great way to make some cash back so you can actually spread the word about Ebates and get paid so the way that you do that and you don't need a website either so let's say that you're saving for a special trip or your child's college education or you're saving for whatever reason um you can just enroll in Ebates and you can ask your family and friends to use your specialty based link before they head over to Walmart or overstock or Target there they service on so many different read online retailers I'm talking Amazon and Macy's and JC Penney eBay Kohl's so anytime someone is going to use online shopping just have them use your link you as well use your own or or just go to ebay so you don't have to use your link you'll just get cash back every time you you purchased something online so it's really easy go to Ebates you punch in the the name of the retailer and then it baits will take you to the retailer's website so that they credit you the commission for the purchase and and that's it and what's really cool is right now eBay –tz– to sweeten the deal for you getting signups Ebates will give anyone who uses your link ten dollars to use as they please and I'm showing you this because this is my affiliate link you don't have to use it but I just have it here so that you can see what happens when someone uses your link then they get this little pop-up that says oh look your friend sent you ten dollars so you can earn your reward when you make your first purchase through Ebates and again if these people are already gonna buy something why not just go through Ebates first and get cash back so like let's say that you're gonna buy a forty dollar item on Amazon and they happen to have 2% cashback then you'll get two percent of that back and it it stays in your Ebates account until you're ready to cash it out and usually it's done via PayPal so they'll just and I've gotten money from them so I know it works but anyway anyone who uses Ebates right now they'll get ten bucks to start which is really pretty good ten bucks in your PayPal account so if you use myleik you'll get ten bucks right away and I'll put my link at the bottom of this video but I should sign in and show you how much I got I'm just afraid that it's gonna yeah I don't want to put in my password right now but maybe tomorrow in tomorrow's video I'll show you I think I have earned like seventy six dollars in cash back through Ebates just through doing my own shopping which is really nice so and it's a great way for you to make some money so that's just a really small way to do a little side hustle and it doesn't really cost you a thing it doesn't even cost you any time so why not do it so the next side hustle that I want to talk today and it's the last one for today is a side hustle of making up to fifty thousand dollars a year or even more by simply picking up litter and so this is a really cool idea I saw this and I was even tempted to do it except that well I'll explain why but anyway there's a gentleman by the name of Brian winch and he runs a multi-million dollar business picking up litter in parking lots so if you've seen like strip malls all over the US right well these strip malls and other empty lots like office building parking lots warehouse parking lots they need to have the litter picked up regularly and now most of these bigger companies will have their own cleaning company that comes in and cleans their parking lot or they have people who are their own janitors or maintenance men who go through and do that so you don't really want to target the bigger companies what you want to do is target the small strip malls property man local property management companies little warehouse parking lots little office building parking lots mom-and-pop kind of places that are basically either doing it themselves once a week and they might be happy to have someone come in and and pay someone a reasonable fee to come in and pick up the litter for them so they don't have to do with themselves so again the best part about this side hustle is that it it really may not require you to have to give up your full time job because it's something that that you can do early in the morning before you go into work or late at night after your workday is complete because a lot of these um these property management companies they don't want someone to be visible during their business hours so they'd rather have someone come in early in the morning before their doors open and just clean it all up or late at night when everyone's gone for the day and just clean it all up um and so that's why I was saying I didn't pursue it because I thought gosh this sounds like so easy you just go and you just talk to some owners and be like hey I'll pick up your litter for such and such amount of money per week and I'll do it in the morning before anyone comes and you know or I'll do it late at night after everyone goes home you just talk to these business owners and you just pick up their litter for a few hours and you know you you start making some good money and the only thing that I caution you is if you're like I caution the ladies you may want to partner up with your husbands or brothers or sons on this one just for safety reasons not because I think that you're not capable because you completely are I know I am but I just think I don't know how my husband would feel about me going out like out you know midnight and doing that kind of thing so so anyway this guy Brian wind she's really interesting he he offers this ebook that you can also read and it details how to start the business if you really need a step-by-step approach to like how would I approach business owners do I need to have a contract do I need any insurance what kind of supplies do I need what do I tell them what you know he details everything in this ebook and he he tells he how to run it successfully from the get-go he also offers you life support and he will answer any questions you may have on the business so a lot of people are who have worked at this I've kind of looked at some message boards and they said that they've kind of worked their way up to $50,000 a year or some of them are on their way there and it just seems like a really neat opportunity so if you go to his page and I'll put this link at the bottom of this video you can see kind of some of the sample pages from his eBook and you can read through the facts and it's loading still it's not bringing up the sample pages for some reason but I had looked at this extensively and I just thought that it seemed like such a great great opportunity for someone who maybe maybe can't have a job I have a few friends that cannot pass the background check right now so do something like this and make fifty thousand dollars a year you know but he offers the facts he has testimonials you can contact him with general questions you can read a little bit more about the opportunity you he does offer some sample pages on the e-book so you can kind of take a look and see but yeah it's clean lots and I'll put the link at the bottom of this email so
