all right Debbie so in this video I want to talk about the three core intangible skills that you need if you want to make a bunch of money online we’re talking the big bucks the Benjamins baby my name can learn at school these are only skills that are honed in through real experience and today I want to talk about some ways that you can get started doing this today so before we do I just want to talk about a butchered up history lesson here so let’s talk about john d rockefeller and andrew carnegie all right so john d rockefeller I believe was oil that was his little his gig and Andrew Carnegie was into steel alright but today the opportunity is it oil or stocks or steel today’s the opportunity is making money online that is the big opportunity now if Andrew Carnegie was born today he’d probably be like the affiliate marketing master or he’d have this big digital empire it’s just a completely different medium so basically what I’m getting at is that these are the three skills if you want to be one of these tycoon builders besides for being like incredibly narcissistic and Machiavellian but we’re gonna talk about the three actual skills that you need so we’re going to talk about number one is how to spot opportunities the ability to spot opportunity honing in on anything that could potentially be an opportunity and exploit it so this is one of those things that you don’t really actively do it’s just you changes the lens at which you view the world through so passively no matter what throughout the day I’m thinking oh here’s an opportunity here’s an opportunity this could be a good opportunity and this is how you have to view the world now some things to spot opportunity online here are some things that you can do you can use Google Trends you can go to forums different forms like health forums business forums you can go use the Google Adwords Keyword tool you can read magazines news related to specific industries what you want to do is just soak in all this data now after you do this for enough time your brain will automatically start to connect different dots the more that you do it now part of the skill is once you see that opportunity is to actually act on it now once you start acting on it you learn this you actually get real feedback and figure out whether or not your idea for that opportunity was valid or invalid now the more experience you get the more you’re able to say boom there’s an opportunity that will make money I’m really good at this now I got to literally spot new trends and new fads and I’m able to tell whether or not it’ll be successful five to ten years from now so this is another point also trying to think when you see a potential opportunity think about will it be around ten years from now and if so can I jump in right now and figure out the path to do it alright so that leads to the second skill and that is resourcefulness you have to be resourceful so this is basically taking a realistic tally of your existing skill set so this is actually harder than it may seem because you really can get deluded at your own power or your ability to accomplish a specific task so you have to be very realistic and self-aware in the sense that you have to know what you can realistically do now through the course of you know going after this opportunity you’re going to realize there’s certain things that you don’t know how to do so some of these things you might be able to learn in a couple weeks or a month anything beyond that I’d say that it’s better to try to find someone else who knows how to do those things so programming for example I know basic programming PHP I took a couple classes in it many many years ago I know just enough programming to know what a specific program will take as far as manpower or you know a basic time spent in making a software or what it’ll take to code up website again not a master at it but I still have a rough idea of how to do it now I also know through being resourceful that I don’t know enough to actually create a software so I know that it’s better to look for someone to do that so throughout your your career of spotting opportunities you’re going to be faced with the decision or the fork in the road so to speak of the correct path that you need to take to do it and what skills is going to take this is called being resourceful absolutely necessary if you want to be an online business owner and entrepreneur anything that nature the reality is is that you’re not going to know everything or you’re not going to have all the resources available so you need that ability to tally up your skills and to five people or to find ways to do it without actually knowing how to do it all right and the third intangible skill is creativity so once you spot an opportunity and you realistically tally up your resources and figure out a way to attack that opportunity you need to use creativity in order to come up the unique spin or unique angle to attack a potential market or a new product line or whatever it is the new affiliate site whatever that route is you use your creativity to create something new by combining your existing resources and your ideas into a cohesive package alright so again creativity is just one of those things you have to hone in only through trial and error and experience personally I got pretty good at this when I was younger like 10 to 12 I was really into this thing called Lego Mindstorms you had it was like the Lego kit where you could build robots and you’d have all these pieces and all these tools and all these resources to try to create something unique that functioned so over time I was actually able to exercise that creativity muscle and use it to bring together all the pieces I had to create something unique and effective so what I recommend that you do if you’re starting out is just to be able to start putting pieces together chances are you’re going to mess up the first one to even five tries you’re going to have this crappy little you know duct tape thing that you put together but what’s important is that you’re starting to exercise that creativity your resourcefulness and your ability to seek opportunity all right all in all that was the point of this videos to say that you need to have those three skills it comes with time don’t get discouraged just start exercising each one of these skills just a little bit each day and you’d be surprised how far you can go all right now going back to my previous example of Andrew Carnegie and john d rockefeller if they were alive today I totally think they would be doing things like internet marketing making money online in some form one of the big ways in my opinion right now is affiliate marketing so the top right of this
